So someone here did the math and says that Britain has lost approximately 350billion since the start of the day.

...how much was the fee to be in the EU per year? Zoinks...

Y'all have spawned hot takes all over every media outlet in America this morning of how "WELL BECAUSE OF THAT, NOW MAYBE TRUMP HAS A CHANCE?!?!"

And I hate you for it.

One would hope they'd stop if talks of a referendum started, but unfortunately I can't get inside the mind of terrorists :/

Good because MI6, FBI, CIA and Homeland are monitoring internet posts.

This is the anti-Corbyn argument that does my head in the most, to be honest. What does "credible" mean in this context?

It seems, based on who is deemed as credible, that they are the sort of person whose lies you would believe. That is not what Labour or the country needs.
I never said I'm anti-Corbyn, I'm just not pro-Corbyn as leader of the Labour Party. The role of the leader of any political party should be to unite the whole party, to be a strong & decisive leader and ultimately to win a general election. Whatever his strengths as a politician I don't see him as being able to achieve any of this. I acknowledge that he was elected as leader with overwhelming support from the Labour membership, but that doesn't mean he can lead the Parliamentary Labour Party effectively. Don't let mine or anyone else's opinion do your head in, because at the end of the day time will tell. If Corbyn leads Labour into the next general election, I would expect another pasting for Labour and another Tory government

I've still got the same in my bank account. But then again I'm not in Cyprus, so the EU can't touch a penny of it anyway. :)

Be interested to see what measure was used to determine that 'loss', given the FTSE100 is around 100 pts higher than it was 4 days ago. It may have plummeted at market open (and since recovered 50% of that drop), but you simply cannot use that in definite terms.

Him and every other loony that wants to pull up the drawbridge and isolate themselves from the world. Not that any of this was predictable before yesterday.

SF more than the SNP - the Nationalists in NI don't want the pound and wouldn't have to deal with a border if they voted to leave the UK. Those are problems that the SNP will face... (edit) plus of course the oddness in voting to leave one union that they have influence in, in order to join one that they won't.

I get what you're saying, but most Scots I know already feel like they don't have any power in London.

Japan isolated itself from the world until 1854; within 40 years of it being forced to open up (By the good ol' US of A, no less) it became one of the most belligerent nations on the planet, and is still (to date) the only country to have suffered nuclear attacks.

But they're now the world's 2nd biggest economy, so that makes it alright.

They were still 'loonies' when they were isolated, though.

All the Brits on holiday abroad in the EU will no longer be entitled to free healthcare

well done lads

Oh, how sad. I really am gutted abar that. All them pissed up chav beauts in magaluf & faliraki having to to bear in mind the cost of getting tanked up and needing hospital treatment...

I hope we start insisting on health insurance for overseas nationals to receive healthcare here.
