Price Waterhouse publish a report today indicating the British economy will out perform leading E U nations for the next 33 years.

The Leave side could shout about their arguments being vindicated. Maybe they might choose a wiser (IMO) course and say something to the effect, "This is why we don't trust experts".
A report based on the result of negotiations not only with the EU but with countries around the globe, of which we currently have no idea how they'll pan out, that somehow concludes that in 33 years it'll be the land of milk and honey. I think they might have used tea leaves as part of their economic modelling here.

Exactly.

Not dissimilar to the Treasury model trotted out by Osborne / Carney which a respected mathematician told me was worthless due to its "Witless accumulation of variables".

For the next 33 years, not in 33 years. Still wildly speculative but also very different.

So when some leave campaigners encouraged people to vote for the Norway model, it was just bullscheiß? Hard Brexit is not just a media term. It means throwing the baby out with the bathwater, which sadly looks like where we are going.

PS, I will have to get to 99 to do the whole 42 years, but I hope to see Everton at least in Europe by then....

It is facile to call out what the 'Leave' campaigners said while remaining silent about the bullscheiß put out by the 'Remain' campaigners, such as a swingeing budget threatened by the Chancellor (who subsequently resigned when the vote did not go his way - an utter snivelling turd of a man!), and the doom and gloom propounded by the many 'experts' on the side of remain who have now been shown up for what they are: bullscheiß experts.

'Hard Brexit' IS a media/Remainers term to scare-monger. Nothing more, nothing less. It will simply be a negotiated exit. Period.

As for your last sentence, I think it means you are old enough (like myself) to see us pick up a European trophy in the mid-'80s. Happy days! :D ;)

I take this with the same pinch of salt I take with all long term forecasts..........

What point are you trying to make, Bruce? Thick people vote leave, clever people vote remain?

How wonderfully narrow-minded and patronising. I expected better from you, tbh.

This has been a running sore throughout this thread. The demonisation of Leave voters by the saintly enlightened intellectuals who voted Remain......who strangely called the vote incorrectly, the economy incorrectly and the cards that we have to use during our exit negotiations. In fact is there one single item that the remainers predicted that has come true ?.....

I wish I could believe that. I'm more inclined it will provide a fillip for the likes of him, Trump, Le Pen, Wilders, Norbert Hofer, Jarosław Kaczyński and so on.

Deloitte produce a Brexit report that got them into hot water, and as I recall, barred from providing services to the govt for some time.

PwC produce a report that saying the UK is bloomin' marvellous and everything is positively tickedy-boo.

Coincidence? You don't think they might be fluttering their eyelashes somewhat?

"Big Four accountancy firm in finding nothing wrong shock"

Greece Debt rearing it head again, 7 billion due for repayment in July, not a chance it will be paid back, and long term a realisation that the will never be able to pay back what it has borrowed and needs yet more money and a restructuring of it current loans.
Germany in Election year not keen to finance it, so pressure on the EU to sort something out, going to get interesting in the coming months as focus turns to the Euro zone rather than Brexit for the current members.

Lol. You lot really are parodies.

"ITS' ALRIGHT TO LIE IF MY GUY DOES IT. GO TEAM"

For you even to reply to the fact I stated that both sides lied is, well... Do I REALLY have to say?

You have entered this thread late, and therefore missed all the garbage about the 'Leave' sid elying, and the perfectly reasonable responses from others saying both sides lied.

You clearly have a problem accepting that your side actually told fibs. All the more so since they came from the highest Offices in the land, the PM & Chancellor. Oh dear...
