What a myopic comment from Clinton...citizens "holding people responsible". What does she think this "citizen" was doing, within the confines of his own bubble?

Both 'kin sides can do one...playground politics but it's nothing new; the public just mainline it now instead of being drip fed each sides publicly irresponsible horse?.

Perhaps I've misunderstood you, but hitting someone in the head with a hammer is not acceptable even when operating "within the confines of his own bubble." This is simply attempted homicide and charged as such.

I certainly don't think you would say it's acceptable and I am at fault for intimating that! My apologies. But if your point was that "deranged violent people are going to be deranged" this is certainly true. To me, it is how this deranged person was radicalized by nonsense/conspiracies on the now-seemingly-mainstream-Republican-platform, which suggests that some culpability lies with them (e.g. the platforming of qanon) since the assailant targeted a given politician. Otherwise they could have just hit any random person in the head with a hammer.

As to Hilary, I'm on record here saying she should just stay out of politics. She is smart but she just doesn't have political chops to compete in these times. She is a machine-democrat that is in the pockets of corporations, just like BIden. She is also a lightening rod for extremism and one would think she should be capable of some self-awareness to realize that her tweets are not productive and perhaps do more damage to the cause she is trying to uphold.

She’s not self aware and acts as though she’s entitled, which is part of the reason why so few like her and also what feeds the trolls
