Play him alongside Holgate once Baines is back. I am sure he'll look good.

Coleman Holgate Mangala Baines

Two right footed players, two left footed players, and all in their preferred positions.

Hurry up Leighton ffs. Your return transforms our defence.
I like the concept but not those you've chosen. Well. Holgate.
Whilst he's done well at times, he's also been horrific yet it goes under the radar because he's handsome, has 'tekkers' (according to some kids sat near me on Saturday) and we have Martina in the side.
He in no way deserves to be playing.

The alternatives to Holgate are terrifying. Keane, Jagielka, WILLIAMS?!

Keane for me but I can't argue against the despair that's thrown at him.
Jags is fine as back up. Time is up as a starter i agree.
Williams...I mean... He's just really poor isn't he.
Keane for me too. He's not a bad defender, granted he's had a poor start to his Everton career but he hasn't been helped. He's been in and out of the team and when he has played he's had his CB partner changed almost every game. He's not the quickest but maybe with either Holgate or Mangala who are more mobile and quicker he can forge a bit of an understanding.
Williams and Jags should be nowhere near starters anymore.

I think Mangala cost 42m when City bought him, could they be so terribly wrong about a player , even if the price was somewhat inflated because it was City that were buying ?

I think it should be two from Holgate, Keane and Mangala.
To be fair to Jags the legs are not what they were but there is never a doubt about attitude.

To be fair, I only watched the highlights of the Arsenal game on Sky, but from the little I saw of him, he looked - how do you say - uncoordinated? Praying I’m wrong.

You don’t like Holgate? This could be Barry mkII here.
