We were there for the taking tactically YET still if he had just be reactive and made 3 subs at ht I am certain we would have shored up the back line and got the goal we needed. They are a pretty poor side on the evidence of watching both games yet we were absolutely embarrassing last night. Probably the best draw we could have hoped for and we absolutely bottled it for 30 minutes at our place and an hour at theirs.

I agree mate, the big question is why did he do nothing until it was too late! One has to ask what was he watching and seeing that the rest of us were not.

Jagielka talking sh*** now

Pain Will Fuel Us
We have had a long journey home from the Ukraine
It doesn’t look like we will be in Europe next season, so we need to use it as motivation to finish the season strong

He needs to put his head under a tap, Looks like Jags has been getting lessons in waffle. Who taught him, I wonder?

Everton manager Roberto Martinez is now facing the media.

There must be virtually no positives to take from Thursday's night 5-2 thrashing at the hands of Dynamo Kiev in the Europa League but he can at least report that no fresh injuries were sustained in Ukraine.

Bryan Oviedo, Steven Pienaar and Tony Hibbert remain out, while Gareth Barry misses out at Loftus Road through suspension.

QPR press conference starts at 14:00, looks like bobby has done a alcaraz and not showed up
Kyiv were phenomenal and we had moments.
Martinez has no solution to our problems. Even worse he refuses to admit we have a problem! I guess he thinks being six points off relegation is normal.
We're getting results like Wigan, we're playing like Wigan, defending like Wigan and will go down like Wigan if we're not careful.

Everton now turn their attention back to the Premier League and with a trip to struggling QPR on Sunday will be desperate to avoid getting dragged closer to the drop zone.

“It simplifies the object,” added Martinez, whose side is six points clear of the bottom three after winning twice in 13 league games.

“We will be fully focused on the nine games we have left and we have got to be ready for Loftus Road.

“We see these nine games as nine finals and we need as many points as we can get.”

I know mate. Even at ht and regardless of how bad we had been I was thinking

Take Alcaraz, Barry and Naismith off and bring on Stones, Besic or Gibson and Osman on. Tighten up the midfield, get some balance to the left as Osman will track back more and Stones will settle Jagielka down. That's all he had to do - react to the situation. He didn't want to or didn't see the need to ( which is more worrying ) and the changes he did make gave us no shape, it was like a kids school team with 7 up top with no particular order of where they should be.

Did anyone go to last night's game and are now back home? How was the trip and how we're you treated by their fans? What was the mood like at the end? Did the players come over to you to clap?

I have to ask what is Barry's role? He isn't very good defensively and his passing isn't good. What exactly is he meant to be doing.

Nearly 24 hours later and still no announcement of him having to speak to the board.

I want to just hear him come out and say...

'Being sacked in these moments is an incredible, incredible experience. I leave with some phenomenal memories and will search for incredible opportunities in future moments'
