Agreed, I think stats do the talking when it comes to the legend front, in 20 years time gonna look back and say "That Cahill was mighty impressive, up there with the best" , whereas Dunc will be remembered for individual games and punching out burglers.

Wierdly, I have far more love for Dunc than Timmy, so it's defo an emotive subject

I love Cahill, but I don't ever remember Everton bringing him to tears.

Dunc was as blue as humanly possible. Cahill runs him close, like, but to me there is no competiton.

Big Dunc was my idol, and my Everton hero. Not a legend -- the legend, to me at least.

Not only that with Dunc, but the guy had great feet for a tall bit of timber, really nice touch and a fierce shot on him in his prime, we just used him so so badly. We didn't help his cause with all the injections etc
