Player Valuation: £70m
I've never been his greatest fan, but I was always a fan. I felt he was more volatile then he needed to be and he could have scored more goals. However the man is and always will be the legend of the late 90s early naughties.

What is he doing now? Would he be the only ex player you would have as manager if and when Moyes moved on?

Discuss...

Legend, which get bandied about, would be too strong a word.
But definately a cult hero to us in the 90s which were pretty much [Poor language removed].

Lives in Mallorca mate.

He wouldn't make a manager, we should just remember him for the moments of boss things.

But his pure energy, Duncan Ferguson had something that this club needs. Do you know what I mean? It's not like it's something that's missing from our club. We have a great spirit, but the energy that the boy brought is something that would take us to the next level. And I'm not saying he should replace Moyes, before anyone thinks that.

I just feel he has that golden buzz about him.

I do not think Big Dunc would ever make a good manager, much as I love the fella.

Ex players as a manager though?

I have to admit. Unless Stubbsy can develop, or Pip (even though he has stated he will start managing in the lower leagues first), I can't think of anyone.

Maybe David weir, but he said when he stops playing, he quits the game.

I always wanted Ratters or Peter Reid to takeover, but then if you look at the legends in the game, apart from Kendall how many managers have gone on to successfully manage their clubs.

Yup. I fully agree.

Big Dunc, Cult hero.

Cahill, a legend forming in front of our eyes.

Just my thoughts though.

We'd get mullered tactically I reckon mate. I don't think he would be interested either.

I do love him so though.

I thought about Ratters, but he himself has admitted he does not have the tolerance to put up with the modern day player tantrums.

Completely forgot about Mr Reid though. Not a bad shout mate, but does he have the horrocks still?.

Thanks mate, he's more than served his apprenticeship though.

Nah, can't see it mate. I bet he's loving his retirement now like.

I bet he is, just seems a waste for all that positive raw energy being wasted on Magaluf.
