Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

More people could start doing what you already have if mainstream media would accept the reality. Instead they still are pushing the agenda that only deepens the trenches.
It would also have helped if during the campaign Trump hadn't routinely moaned that you couldn't trust the election results and even despite him winning the electoral college, making bizarre post election claims that he would also have won the popular vote without widespead voter fraud of which he provides absolutely no evidence.

Trump won the EC, Clinton won the popular vote. The latter makes no practical difference as it isn't the way a US election is won. Wikileaks, the Comey letter, the Access Hollywood tapes and the women claimed sexual assault of both Bill Clinton and Trump all probably effected the result to some unknown extent. Russian may have been involved in giving Wikileaks data.

You can believe all these things are true, and should be discussed, whilst also believing the results should still hold.

I honestly don't think there would be any moaning about the result on the Republicans' part because a) they didn't even want Trump to win and b) never expected him too. This is liberal toy throwing and it's amazing to see the amount of straws being clutched by the same people who lambasted the Don for saying he mightn't have accepted the result
He hasn't accepted the popular vote - he claims he won it! Talk about throwing toys out the pram and deepening the trenches!

Can't we get behind Trump when he has good ideas?

"During the campaign, candidate Bush had criticized the Clinton-Gore Administration for being too interventionist: 'If we don't stop extending our troops all around the world in nation-building missions, then we're going to have a serious problem coming down the road. And I'm going to prevent that.'"

Let's not count our chickens before they're hatched.

His appointments alone so far suggest a total betrayal of voters who supported his promise to tackle cronyism, corruption, and moneyed interests. I do not anticipate a man whose public narcissism and petty spite is unprecedented in modern US politics, and who has publicly called for "bombing the [Poor language removed] out of ISIS," showing strategic restraint when provoked.

Re "thrashed," you can win California by a single vote and pick up all 55 electoral votes. would winning by one vote in that case and thus collecting 55 more electoral votes than your opponent amount to a "thrashing"? i suppose i prefer my semantics to at least attempt to reflect reality.

You have to understand that a lot of Trumps harsh talk was rhetoric and even tactics. But lot of it was true too - talk without political correctness.

Did he win California by a single vote then?

Oh, he's prone to tremendous amounts of toy-throwing himself, no doubt. But it doesn't change the fact that he is the next US president through a democratic process the US has had in place for a long time. The implication of Russian involvement, the demand for recounts, it's all a bit unsavoury

He sowed the seeds of distrust in the election results, and continued to do so post election, yet whines when anyone else does the same.

That isn't lack of political correctness, that is undermining principals of democracy and being a sore winner.

Concerning??!! That and he was taped saying because he's famous he can grab woman by the [Poor language removed]. Imagine someone saying that to you in a private conversation. What would you think of them? Jesus Christ
Also would love to know how many billionaires end up in jail or have court dealings that are dealt with 'in an open fair and impartial manner'
The world has truly gone crackers

That is a ludicrous argument, though. Billionaires obviously have huge resources, so it makes sense to have allegations of serious crime against them dealt with by way of the media rather than actually dealing with them criminally?

It is, especially as at least two other foreign nations have vastly more involvement in the US political system than the Russians do.

Mixed on the recounts, if it helps reestablish faith in the vote tallies fo future elevtions it is probably worth it but it is a hell of a lot of money.

Strongly disagree with the Russian stuff, if the security forces have evidence of Russian involvement it should be investigated and if proved true, systems put in place to avoid a repeat in future.
