Spurs, Burnley and Arsenal among them.

So how many points can we expect to pick up on our travels in your opinion?

I would say half a dozen if we are lucky.

And as we have seen in our last two always, we are struggling against the poor teams away as well as the good ones.

We also have City, the RS and Leicester to come visiting.

So we will in all probability lose a few of our home games....likely draw a few more, especially against teams battling for their EPL survival.

Yes, I am pretty sure we will get the requisite points to avoid relegation....maybe not even need 40, who knows.

But if anyone thinks we will "easily" take those points they are naive in the extreme, IMO.

My predicted 55 points may be optimistic but i'd say 50 points is easily achievable, especially with the injured players coming back and having a transfer window to strengthen. 23 points from 48 should be achievable.

We definitely need to.spend our money much more wisely. On a general point of principle rather than any immediate fears of a Leeds style melt down.

We've blown lots of money for questionable return and now have a bloated and unbalanced squad. We'll struggle to shift some of our dross on I'd they decide they don't want to take pay cuts...

One things for sure, the situation need to change as this season has been unacceptable.

Thing is, i'm barely that bothered at the moment or surprised as Everton have just ground me down over the years. It's all i've ever known supporting us. We get some optimism like the 04-05 season and then we're truly awful the next. We produce the best performance i've ever seen from us, blowing away our challengers for 4th (Arsenal) in 13-14 only to go and lose at home to Crystal Palace and then put in a shocking effort at Southampton where we score 2 own goals.

In the summer it looked like we were going to push on and build on the progress we made last season and at the very least cement our superiority over the sides below us, and instead we're having to set our sights on catching Burnley to view as some sort of success for this season after spending an unbelievable amount of money by our standards.

Not being funny mate but are you sure it was nothing to do with the fact that Yeung was a crook ?

From what I remember BRUM were struggling before Yeung took over and he just tipped it over for you unfortunately, but I might be wrong.

The issue we have is not finance for once but numptie managers and DOF who spunked a load on rubbish. The only fault I can find with the owner is he hired these clowns in the first place but i reckon that BK has a lot to do with that too.

I’m not worried about it. This is just the “prune Juice” effect of the latest TV money deals. The money coming into the club has increased, so the money going out of the club has increased. Players that were £10m are now £25m and players that were on £75k a week are now on £140K a week.

That will probably go up again in 2019 as the premier league are going to make more matches available for purchase and organisations like Facebook and Amazon are interested in bidding

Deffo more of a QPR. Some seriously awful players earning far too much money and I expect this trend to continue this month with BFS.

We're still buying the same standard of player we always get, we're just paying a lot more money for them.

I'd suggest we are buying a lesser standard ironically. At one stage nearly we had an Everton team of individuals that where bought for scrap and worth top Dollar. Jags, Baines, lescot, cahill,pienarr, Coleman etc. All better than our current record transfer smashers.

Moshiri's money has enabled people like Walsh to forget what he was supposedly employed to do and now he is just signing off big deals. That has not been his strength previously so he is irrelevant. As much as the money is a curse, it is only romantic to be poor in books but we need to use it wisely. For me:

- Bin off Walsh. If we need a DoF get one who has a track record of doing it. This is a priority - see point 4.
- Buy (or loan) someone who has scored in this country/league in January - even just for the remainder of the season. It will take time to get someone without experience up to speed. Might be a [Poor language removed] shout be Sturridge and Ings need to play - if not them, people who are hungry. Hernandez is not getting a game under Moyes at West Ham, Slimani at Leicester, Loic Remy, Llorente at Spurs. We can then be looking to buy big summer time.
- Buy a long term left back and midfield box player with energy - pay what it takes to get the best we can attract.
- Use the experience and network of said DoF to acquire a new manager for the summer. Ensure both the DoF and manager have a playing style that meshes and can be implemented.
- Recruit the best analytical and backroom staff we can hire.
- Stop launching mad PR [Poor language removed] - build quietly but with foundations and aim for top7 next season with cup runs then build again for top 4 season after. Others don't stand still so such an achievement must have the right level of commitment and understanding.

Leeds played in champions league so no.

But it was their inability to maintain champions league status that led to their downfall so it is relevant. Their wage and debt bills relied on UCL income. When they failed to qualify twice on the run they had to sell their best players and the spiral started.

With us, it's the TV money that makes the big difference. Staying in the premier league is what we need to do. If we continue on our current trend of bringing in average players on above average earnings, then staying in the prem cannot be considered a given. And if we are relegated, there is the fear that a Leeds scenario will follow if we don't get promoted immediately.

The club needs sorting from the top down. Mosh (who I'm far from impressed with by the way) needs to take full control of the club before we can move forward effectively. The board then needs an overhaul followed by the management, coaching and recruitment teams.

This needs doing by May/June ideally, with a new manager/DOF team brought in to start rebuilding the squad.

The good news is that we do have a lot of excellent youth players to build the squad around, and some decent senior players like Rooney, Coleman, Gueye and Sigurdsson. But if the board can get the right management team in this time around, there's no reason why we can't be knocking on the door of the top 6 in a further 2/3 years time.

Can anybody see all that happening?. No. thought not.

It's been mentioned a few times today by various posters that they're concerned about where we're heading as a club. This has been largely sparked by rumours of the £145k-£150k weekly wage that we are supposedly willing to pay Cenk Tosun.

So, are you concerned that if we're offering those sort of wages (not to mention the transfer fee) for what are unproven players that we could spiral into financial difficulty and have to rapidly sell our assets and tumble out of the Premier League?

The comparisons with Leeds are worrying, it also reminds me of Tony Fernandes coming into QPR and throwing crazy money at loads of average footballers, look where that's got them.

£45m on Sigurdsson is another example of the silly money we've thrown around, vastly overpriced even in todays inflated market.

Do you have genuine concerns?

Yes Bungle, but it is the silly way the PL is heading, look at 75m for you know who and I wonder what wage he is on.

Carrying on like it is and the bubble will blow far worse than the South Sea Bubble!
