My postman used to be Tom Ritchie, who played for Bristol City with Joe Royle.

I also played football against Tom Ritchie.

So not really.

Oh, hang on, David Moyes once paid for my round of drinks.

So still, not really.

Getting a Scotsman to pay for anything is no mean feat mate.

However tenuous? Post it here.

I'll go first. My dad played in the FA Cup for St Domingo FC?

The church retained a team after Everton went pro and after the church went the team continued.

My dad played in goal, in the FA Cup qualifiers for St Domingo FC. He got player of the season twice.

They had no kit for one FA Cup game, and they wrote to Everton - the club sent them the previous games' kits.

So my dad played in the FA Cup, for St Domingo FC in 1981, in Neville Southall's shirt used the day before.

I think they exist only as a non league ladies team low.
Lolz.. and lolz... That must be the most lolz ever ...Nice try though !

I was mate's with Alan Whittle's son. We were at school together and both played hockey (the school didn't do any football so there was no football team).

My dad knows Derek Mountfield through playing golf.

I met Sir John Moore's great granddaughter last week.

To start with, I was reading that as though you must be way over 100 years old, if your dad had played for St. Domingo' s

Really should stop skim reading.

I had Steve McMahon's elbow smack my cheekbone in a match, when he was managing Swindon Town. Does that count?

They retained a team. Then it changed hands etc. He was born 1958.

Not sure I understand your lolz.

The team existed in the '80's albeit in different hands.

Everton recognised the connection so lolz off mate.
