Its completely natural for fans who want to sing to want to be by other fans who want to sing. Thats how it works.Sounds a bit too orchestrated and unnatural.
It can also lead to the ghettoisation of atmosphere.
Also, if you dont want to chant all game and you're in a section right next to the designated singing area that'd be a royal pain in the arse.
You’d hope anyone with a brain at the club would be looking into all aspects of crowd engagement to see what works and what doesn’t to promote atmosphere. The fact that most clubs just come up with goal music, plastic flags, flashing signs on the advertising hoardes, suggest that it’s either an area overlooked by most clubs, or it’s something organic you can’t really affect.
This would really get the crowd going... no?
blame it on the boogie?I would feel the need to dance too, wonderful.
The arsenal one is genuinely the most cringey thing Ive seen or heard in the history of football.Been thinking of this for ages now. Dare I say it Liverpool before every game get every tv company to keep quiet whilst they sing you’ll never walk alone, even Arsenal now have North London forever.
As much as I love z cars as it’s our tradition it does do my head in that we don’t really have an intimating style anthem that gets everyone on their feet singing before a game. I love spirit of the blues but we only tend to belt that our if we are winning.
Any ideas? Oh and there’s she goes just doesnt cut it for me, just a song, nothing to do with Everton.
