Both “songs” are horrendous dirges, awful, boring garbage that sound even worse somehow when a load of fat old fellas and screeching women start spitting and slurring them out all over each other. No we dont. I personally find it cringey that Arsenal now have one. Looks like they are trying to copy Liverpool
Ive read this about 20 times so far, and it gets funnier each time hahaaWe could tick all the boxes, play the Ukrainian national anthem while drag queens abseil down from the roof on to a pride flag coloured pitch and they’d still ignore us. The bias isn’t going away, we shouldn’t pander to the media scum
Amazing Talk Sport reckoned it was the Celtic fans who first sang YNWA ala related by Alan Brazil - from the film Carousel - Gerry Marsden covered it & the Kop adopted it - ridiculous song who the hell wants to walk alone ?
The only anthem we had was We shall not be moved taken from the hit single by the Seekers back in the mid 1960s { but at that time we did well in FA Cups etc } not much use now when we exit the FA CUP early most rounds It was blasted out & the Gwladys Street chanted it in full volume 10 minutes before kick off every game ...
Talking of which I notice on most big teams 25 minutes before kick off the grounds are sparse with fans - before ticketed seats thewy were almost full 30 minutes before kick off - with rival fans on terraces - chanting their songs at each other - fans paying on the day arrived early to get their usual spec on the terraces every game .. seating has ended all that .... so IMO an anthem is not now a necessity in todays game ....
Plus our home performances at the HD stadia have been poor to say the least ....
A.M., F.M. I feel so ecstatic nowSF against United back in 2009 - I couldn't watch the penalty shoot out with nerves; went out with a radio and when I heard that being sung I knew we'd won.
This is the winner.
