Sad to say I haven't been convinced with both the Baggies game and Bournemouth. If his philosophy doesn't change we will drop a bit and I doubt he will be mainstay with us. The roundabout may continue.

If he keeps his job in the summer, he will definitly get money. I'm not sure he will be judged solely on points, he needs to make us look nicer to watch. Can he do that well we will see in the next few months.

I'm concerned about who he might sell. Creative players aren't getting a look-in at the moment. If playing 3xDMs at Bournemouth is any indication, or playing a clearly unfit Bolassie ahead of Lookman, Vlasic, Mirallas, we could be left with years of rebuilding after he has gone.
Unless we spend near on 100 million in this window, I fear many will be sold in the summer. I think if he got in a decent striker, midfielder and a LB they could well tie the whole team together, deep down are players aren't as bad as they are showing but after half a season together what ever side is picked they can't play as a team, the nearest we have had playing as a team is Sams defensive system just to grind out points but that's very ugly football. So Tosun (he's suppose to ok) Nzonzi (he always looked decent) and a decent LB (whoever it my be). I may be wrong but I believe this would improve us massively. Also we miss Barkley really bad, but I'd say it's a 99% chance he's going so I'll we will have to forget about him. Good old Everton into another year and we are still a c**p wannabee big team.

If we keep Sam we have to back him, throwing him to the wolves otherwise - which ultimately throws us to the wolves in terms of league position etc.

It's whether we keep him or not.

We have many players that are on big contracts who will never fits SAMs "style" if we allow him to bring his own players in then we will have a mess of a squad when he eventually leaves. We have several players with longish very well paid contracts who will not get any near the same amount at any other club and therefore will be very difficult to shift.

We needed replacements after Martinez, so we have the old guard plus the average (putting it kindly) RK signings, we do not need SAMs over the hill signings on top.

hilarious listening to all the moaners saying we are awful to watch. we were amazing to watch when we were being thumped 5-1 and in the bottom 3.
points over performance any day. a win is a win. I'd rather have top 6 playing solid football, than 10th playing tippy tappy.

he needs to be given money because the squad is so unbalanced. 2 previous managers couldn't get wins or clean sheets out of this squad, yet big sam has had the best start of any everton manager with this shambles. go figure. you don't think he deserves a chance to prove himself once he has the players he wants to balance out the squad?
it never occurred to anyone that the reason we are playing such defensive footy is because than is the only way to currently grind points with the available players? he deserves money in Jan, and time to the end of the season, then reassess. anyone making judgements now is crazy, as not even Pep could get this current team winning with nice footy.
