How many players will we sign this summer?

There's a lot of chatter about whether we should go all out this summer and sign a shed load of players or whether iterative improvement over a series of windows is the way to go.

But who cares about all of that?! How many new players will we sign? Not contract renewals, new players.

We will like get 1 starting quality with 4 squad fillers.

2 will be permanent signings and 3 will be loans.

It will basically be a repeat of the last 3 windows.

If I were a betting man.....id lose a lot of money. But I would bet we retain one expiring contract, make Alcaraz permanent, sign 2 players on frees, 1 player on loan, and buy 6. A total of 9 in not-counting Alcaraz. If we sell someone unexpected, then add a player for each player we sell.
