Thought I would pop this thread back to the top of the pile to see whether anyone’s view has changed?

I know at the time there was no cheese on toast option, I want to know about the 33%
What your thoughts are?

Only if the plan is achieve a top half finish while keeping within a small budget.

If that is the plan then Sam will probably deliver but bore us all to tears doing so.

Imagine rating this fat mess.

If he's here come next season I won't be going.

To be honest I'm in two minds to renew my ST because we all know a decision won't be made til everyone's already paid up.

He might be a chancer this Moshiri but he knows how to rinse us for money.

Yea I've went from who knows to no chance in hell.

The reality of watching a Big Sam team every week has to be experienced to truly realise how soul destroying it is. I now have more appreciation for all the other clubs fans that have hounded him out.

Unfortunately most of our transfer budget will be blown on his compensation once we fire him. Of course we won't hire anyone until the first few games of the season knowing Everton. And that's being hopeful. Good news is it will clear the way for Cenk to start.

In a word NO!
I would pay him whatever it takes right now to get this disinterested, uninspiring excuse of a manager as far from Goodison Park as possible. Then I would take a good long look at exactly who is the right man tom lead us for the next five years, as opposed to making an appointment based purely on desperation and panic.
Appointing Allardyce is by far the worst mistake of the Moshiri era and surely Mr. Moshiri himself must be able to see that.

If he is here he’ll get money.

Having money and withholding it from the manager would be tantamount to making his position untenable. It would be far easier to sack him if that was the prevailing viewpoint.

What clubs anywhere in europe currently have had their manager for 5 years.

It doesn't happen. The players have too much power and if they want them out then that's what happens.
