A gay Vietnamese Nazi... yeah... good one
Guessing you haven't heard of Milo Yiannopoulos then who is a gay, Jewish right wing troll that has regularly cosied up to Neo Nazis.

Andy Ngo is a right wing troll who has got involved with right wing factions to further his campaign against antifa. You can see video of him with the right-wing group Patriot Prayer in the Twitter thread below.

It's entirely possible for someone so not suited to a group be part of that group.

One of the proud boys. In fact a leader, is part black and part Latin American. He was actually born in Cuba.

Modern day nazis are a little more accepting if you are on brand than actual war time nazis. They probably.see.it as being great trolling.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Jewish people can be Nazis. And to say that they are... my my...

My my indeed.

No, like, actual journalists, ones who are on the ground who go to location and give actual first hand acounts. Not just commentators. For example Andy Ngo does good work simply documenting far left violence and terrorism across the USA, but most specifically in Portland, since it barely gets reported, let alone reported accurately in the mainstream (from either side).

And yes, but it’s much easier to understand an individual’s bias as you can see their past work and they’re usually pretty upfront about it which way they lean. Hence you can then take sources from both sides to help make up your mind. What it also stops you doing is demonising the other side since you are able to see things from their standpoint.

You should take in news that’s biased. But take it from both sides. I’m very skeptical to trust something that claims to be imprtial. Just taking the BBC or any outlet for that matter as gospel because they claim to be impartial is such an alien concept to me. If it’s corporate news, assume they’re lying (if they report on the topic at all, a lot of the time they just refuse to report topics) and if the topic is of enough concern to you then do you own research.

Andy Ngo!!! Hahahaha News that is unbiased.

Katie Hopkins another you follow??

And that is your opinion and you are more than entitled to it. However, another common opinion is that the
BBC is out of control and acting way beyond its original purpose and remit: to inform, educate & entertain.
It's remit and primary objective should be to report the news and not create the news agenda that it wants to
support and perpetuate - which is what it does nowadays and this is the main reason for its criticisms. Me and my
mates are just normal, working class blokes (middle to old age I agree) where previously the BBC was the go to
channel for the news. Now all of us try and avoid it wherever possible. I was an avid radio 4 listener in the morning
and evenings for years for the news & current affairs. It just got to the stage where I could just not listen to it
any longer. Jeremy Vine on radio two - are we licence payers really paying for this stuff I ask myself?
If the BBC was subscription / advertising based then it could say & do what it liked. However, it isn't. It is
publicly funded 100%. Whilst this is the case it should be completely & totaly impartial and report the news
and current affairs as such. As a previous poster stated: If you choose not to fund the BBC it a criminal offence
and you have a very serious risk of going to jail. In this day and age that is truly obscene. The BBC in their current
state are actually encouraging and allowing Murdoch to park his tanks on their lawn. The amazing thing is that
they can't see this as they are so wrapped up in their own self import bubble. The BBC will be and is the master
of it's own decline and for me and a lot of others, the sooner the better.
From a TV view point it's now ITV.
The only newspaper I purchase on any form of regular basis
is The Sunday Times. However, I do go online and occasionally surf around.
As for radio - I have effectively binned it off and listen to podcasts.
I don't touch any form of social media and never have.

It’s one of the those. We all have different political stand points. Times is a more rightwing tory paper. Tbf I often read it for the business section. But I know that every edition is going to have a snipe at the bbc - these things trickle into readers.
Murdoch wants the bbc gone. Murdoch wants the bbc gone so his control over the uk becomes stronger. I don’t blame murdoch for this he is playing his own game... it’s up to people to stand up to him

I really am no fan of Murdoch - that is for sure. But I just believe that the BBC are playing right into his hands.
Murdoch has started to offer alternatives to the BBC which is becoming more and more distant from the
average person in the street. Murdoch has now launched his 'Times Radio' station which I have on occassions
used as an alternative to Radio 4 in the mornings to get the news and current affairs update. To be honest, I found
it was pretty good and John Piennar's show in the afternoon is excellent. He's most certainly not a Tory flop or stooge.
He says it as it is. Murdoch eventually will launch his TV news channel, which will become a direct alternative to the BBC news.
With each new Murdoch broadcasting channel be it radio or TV the BBC becomes less relevant. Through his media channels he can
then slowly, but surely & steadily ramp up the pressure to drop the TV licence to fund the BBC. How the BBC can't see this
is beyond me. I think they can see it actually, but they just refuse to accept it and think there will always be the TV licence
fund model to keep them going. I give the BBC less than 10 years in it's current state. It will by then have some form
of subscription / payment base to fund or part fund it.

My work involves me coming across this argument a lot. I can say with certainty that both the left and the right are equally convinced that the BBC leans to the other side. I'd say that was pretty compelling evidence that they're effectively balanced. They aren't perfect by a long shot, but i've yet to see a credible argument against them to be honest.

As an aside, if you think a public service broadcaster should be defunded, or you shouldn't have to pay your TV licence, because you don't like the coverage your football team gets, you probably need to reassess your life a little bit.
