Go subscription. What do you actually want to happen with the BBC?
Then it's a clear choice. You pay to see & listen to its
content & output or you don't.

It depends on your view point what is regarded as a pro or a con. What are the cons of your plan?
It depends on your view point what is regarded as a pro or a con.
However, if the BBC did go to some form of subscription based model
I believe it would have to be a much leaner operation than it is with less
radio & TV stations than it currently has. Is that a pro or a con?
Maybe you could explain the potential cons from your perspective? That could be seen as either, depending on your point of view.
What do you specifically see as cons for your plan for the BBC?
This isn't a trick question. As it would be a fundamental change to one of the institutions that holds our society together, I expect you have some considered cons you can walk us all through.
Maybe you could explain the potential cons from your perspective?
Really pleased for you.You haven't thought this through then.
I'm a Civil Servant who writes advice for Ministers literally on a weekly basis (I am at this moment writing a Submission to a Secretary of State to be sent this afternoon). I could rustle up a paper in an hour going through the Pros and Cons of something like this.
However, this isn't my proposition. It is yours.

Christ - Fox News for the bbc. Just what we need. Whipping the small minded in to a frenzy every dayExactly.
I lived in the USA for 8 months a couple of years ago and fully agree that our news is far better than what they have.
This is the new news channel I meant:

Yep - it's all about opinions.

You can joke, there has been a surge of people on the beeb with only one arm (I think there is 3 weather presenters and 2 kids TV presenters). I did briefly question whether they've been maiming employees to meet a quota. My 3 point plan for the BBC
1 Give them twice as much money
2 Make every single presenter on every show LGBTQ+
3 Encourage these presenters to begin each show by presenting their naked ring piece to camera whilst singing the White Cliffs of Dover
Hahaha, what does it actually mean now, something like "someone who disagrees with IDS" ?"Woke" really is the stupidest word.
