But we also have manager who has turned us from something like 16th place to being into contention for Europe next year.
He improved us on a team on its arse under Dyche. It went stale and the only way was up.
We then invested for the first time in a long time, the chaos off the pitch has gone and we sit 11th in
Moyes first full season. Dyche earned the points for 12th. Hardly big strides.
If I had hope in the manager and could see some bigger picture plan like signing players we were developing id have patience, but I dont and I can't see it. Besides, I know
Moyes. My opinion has long been determined.
Roll the dice by all means. Hopefully the new guy will get us into the top 6, but I can almost guarantee that this time next year there will be a huge thread discussing getting rid of the manager who replaced Moyes because he 'failed'. Why do I think that? Because that's the way it's gone for 30 years without Moyes.
Proven mediocrity then over giving it a go?
Said it before and I'll say it again. Hes our Roy Hodgson. Palace dont achieve that they have recently with him.
