2025/26 David Moyes

As usual to keep ramming your repetitive points home you never speak about the full picture.

Let’s look at the squad additions -
KDH - possibly player of the season.
Grealish - missed half the season.
Rohl - out injured for long period
Barry - hard to call this anything other than a disaster.
Dibling - same as above.
Aznou - only cost 8m and bought for the future.

Added to Branthwaite missing the majority of the season.

Am I defending Moyes? Probably not.

Am I being reasonable and looking at the full picture? Yes.

It’s some of Moyes’ decisions mate. Rohl, was brilliant against Villa, dropped next game. Same with other players like Alcaraz, play really well, get dropped next game.

48 points under Dyche with the PL wanting us killed and with no real spending

47 points under Moyes when we're in a new positive era and having spent £110M

...you have no business calling your pov on Moyes as 'reasonable'.

Like when you always ref points total with Martinez, for comparison its not all that. Its league position.

One manager can win a league, another can not with more points. The first manager achieved more.

you can’t build a squad with it mate
Honestly getting a bit sick of talking about Bournemouth on here tbh

But with that said - sold their whole back 4 in summer, and their best player in January. Total cost of their replacements (including Rayan in January) = 150m.

If you have literally no registered pro's, could you build a competitive PL squad for 100m? No, definitely not. Can you make that money work for you much better than we currently are though? Definitely!

Moyes imo has no interest in a long term plan for this squad. He wants success now as it's probably his last job managing a PL team. The investments we've already made in development players we can't get back, we need someone who is going to use and develop those players. You can't just write off 100m of spending.

David Moyes draws up potential transfer targets who will accept joining a club not in Europe...

I'm beginning to come round to this alright. Its beyond a quirk now that rohl, dibling, alcaraz arent getting a real look in

If TFG keep Moyes then they just need to target 3 players.

22-28 years of age only and let him get who he wants as a starter.

However, hes got to loan out all of the promising players weve brought in.

Then in 12months his contract expires and say adios.

The young players will have had a year away from Moyes and hopefully not all 3 signings will have flopped.
