Roma are years ahead of us though, the Friedkins bought them 6 years ago and they were already at a higher level than us when they bought them.
The Italian league is not the premier,
Even with champions league football we probably make more money
Nobody is years ahead of anyone. Brighton could be playing champions league football along with Villa ( brilliant manager ) while Bournemouth after selling 4 of their best players this season could be in the Europa league, with Brentford who also lost their 2 best players

He is a loser.

He is in our history books for most losses in the league cup, most losses in Europe and most losses in FA Cup without winning it.

Not his fault that he has to bring a knife to a gun fight.

Our fans are a disgrace

Our fans are the only thing that have kept the club going and Moyes is the best manager we've had in the last 20 years.

David Moyes has turned into a Scottish version of Roy Hodgson.

Stultifying football accompanied by a hangdog expression and negativity.

He had a chance to change Evertonians perception of him after his first spell, but the last few weeks have just reinforced their original view of him.

He has said on numerous occasions that players turned us down in the Summer because we are not playing in any of the European competitions but continues to send out his teams to play not to lose at the key stage of the season.

He picks the team and continues to persist with Gana and McNeill and has not resolved the right back issue.

I’ve had enough of him.

It’s some of Moyes’ decisions mate. Rohl, was brilliant against Villa, dropped next game. Same with other players like Alcaraz, play really well, get dropped next game.
Yep and I get why people are frustrated with that.

I’m just pointing out that us spending 110m doesn’t mean we are going to turn into world beaters, as some are using that as a stick to hit with.

I’m current watching Newcastle who spent 110m on Elanga and Wissa and have gone backwards.

That was my main point really.

But we also have manager who has turned us from something like 16th place to being into contention for Europe next year.

Roll the dice by all means. Hopefully the new guy will get us into the top 6, but I can almost guarantee that this time next year there will be a huge thread discussing getting rid of the manager who replaced Moyes because he 'failed'. Why do I think that? Because that's the way it's gone for 30 years without Moyes.

It would be nice to have a manager who doesn’t worry about who we are up against. We played a West Ham today who are fighting relegation yet we have a manager who went there today with a safety first, negative , keep it tight and hope to nick one attitude. We should have got at them from the off because they had a lot more to lose than us.

Depends what TFGs expectation/objective is with Everton.

Based on my read of them, Id be very surprised if they make a proactive change.
I do wonder whether they are as committed to ourselves as they are to Roma.
Feels like we are a side hustle currently.
But then, to Septics , everything is a hustle.

But we also have manager who has turned us from something like 16th place to being into contention for Europe next year.

He improved us on a team on its arse under Dyche. It went stale and the only way was up.

We then invested for the first time in a long time, the chaos off the pitch has gone and we sit 11th in Moyes first full season. Dyche earned the points for 12th. Hardly big strides.

If I had hope in the manager and could see some bigger picture plan like signing players we were developing id have patience, but I dont and I can't see it. Besides, I know Moyes. My opinion has long been determined.

Proven mediocrity then over giving it a go?

Said it before and I'll say it again. Hes our Roy Hodgson. Palace dont achieve that they have recently with him.

Hodgson stopped Palace from getting relegated. And what he did at Fulham was marvelous. He was similarly excellent at West Brom.

In fact, Hodgson is a Palace fan and had a huge had in getting them where they are.

In fact, Palace fans say:

“Hodgson was the man who could be trusted to keep Palace in the top flight while having minimal resources, which has allowed the club to build a sustainable model that exists now.”
