2025/26 David Moyes

This is why it's mad to stay with him. Glasner has won basically everywhere he;s been. Same trophy as Moyes, sure, but he won it after winning the FA cup, winning the Charity Shield (I'd care), he's won abroad. I dunno, I think he'd be sensible.
Glasner is like Moyes, but good! It is a perfect upgrade, and we should be asking him how much he wants to come here right now

I've got no time for Moyes as a manager anymore (I do think he did a generally good job in his first stint for us and last season), but as a couple of others have said, I don't get the vitriol.

When I see that clip about the champions league I honestly think he means he feels like shaking as in he'd be excited about it, not that he's scared. Maybe I'm being too generous but that was my initial reading of it
I don't understand why you don't get the vitriol? He has constantly downplayed our club as not good enough little old Everton, throughout his first spell and this year. I'm hoping that the absence of his hero patron, Kenwright will mean he is gone very soon. He is one of the worst things that has ever happened to our club. I hate him.

A manager ‘scared’ to qualify for the champions league.

That’s the mentality of our current manager.

In other words, The champions league is way out of his comfort zone. He’s admitting that his brand of football would be shown up as the stone-age dirge he serves up every week.

He is a coward and his own words prove it. Safety first at all costs. Boring, predictable football that belongs in the dark ages.

Scared to qualify for the champions league as that would mean pressure to buy good, progressive, exciting footballers who would not fit in with his cowardly defensive football.

Get out of our club you fossil.
Just watched Palace and the broadcaster noted they would cover over 180 european games next season. Qualification is now really cheap and Moyes blew it with his neanderthal approach.

Glasner would genuinely be the smart, sensible appointment to replace Moyes.
Even though he announced he's leaving in January he has still managed the team brilliantly. No lame duck, just great leadership. I'd love it if we could get him but we won't even sound him out.
I'm convinced that TFG have been convinced that Moyes is the perfect manager for plucky ol' Everton

I'm sure I'll get it in the neck for this but honestly, I just think some people to grow up a bit. It's only football, you can't seriously be telling me you hate him.

He's a dour, glass half empty kind of man so of course he downplays things. It's just the way he is but do you really think he doesn't want us to succeed. I'm sure he's desperate for us to be successful, he just can't do it and doesn't really know how.

I want him gone as much as the next person but there's no way he's one of the worst thing to happen to our club, we were going down the toilet before he took over. Yeah, he stayed too long and shouldn't have come back but he did great for us when he first came in.
