Its actually a bit surprising tbhI’d expect the time commitment to be much higher than a couple of hours every other day, I’d assume it won’t just be time he is on screen but research, briefings etc.
I think it shows a lack of commitment and professionalism to Everton myself. The only current other Premier league manager doing it is Brighton’s I think.
HopefullyIts actually a bit surprising tbh
He should be pouring over various stats about the season, looking for potential coaches to add those small margins(we only ever hear that said as an excuse) and planning a productive preseason schedule.
He's acting like a retiree imo
I've got no time for Moyes as a manager anymore (I do think he did a generally good job in his first stint for us and last season), but as a couple of others have said, I don't get the vitriol. Was the manager of Bodo glimt ‘scared’ of the champions league when they qualified? Obviously not as he embraced it and they have a 50% win rate in the competition. Bodo glimt ffs!!
Moyes is a joke.
He’s knows he’s on the clock, he was never long term, he’s was never first choice and he’s incapable of delivering a style of football that matches the opportunities the new stadium presents. Its actually a bit surprising tbh

When I see that clip about the champions league I honestly think he means he feels like shaking as in he'd be excited about it, not that he's scared. Maybe I'm being too generous but that was my initial reading of it
Yea good pointsHe’s knows he’s on the clock, he was never long term, he’s was never first choice and he’s incapable of delivering a style of football that matches the opportunities the new stadium presents.
He’s prob getting £350k+ for 5 weeks work when he’s not 100% sure if he’ll get an extension at Everton yet.
And then we’ll get another ‘stopgap’ manager to ‘stabilise’. Rinse and repeat. We have an opportunity to be proactive now and escape the misery cycle, but the owners don’t give a [Poor language removed]If we start of crap mate he will get sacked

I get what you’re saying, but I honestly believe the ‘shudder’ he made was in reference to it’s ‘just too big for us at this time.’I've got no time for Moyes as a manager anymore (I do think he did a generally good job in his first stint for us and last season), but as a couple of others have said, I don't get the vitriol.
