2025/26 David Moyes

If managers are just coming here for the money, I’d be concerned. Iraola and Glasner won’t touch us and whenever Moyes does leave in the future, we need to find the NEXT Iraola and Glasner as the ship has sailed on those two, they’re looking for the next step in their careers which isn’t here.
They wouldn't be coming 'just for money' though. It's just one thing we may need to use when we don't have Europe.
What do you think they should come for?

I'm sure I'll get it in the neck for this but honestly, I just think some people to grow up a bit. It's only football, you can't seriously be telling me you hate him.

He's a dour, glass half empty kind of man so of course he downplays things. It's just the way he is but do you really think he doesn't want us to succeed. I'm sure he's desperate for us to be successful, he just can't do it and doesn't really know how.

I want him gone as much as the next person but there's no way he's one of the worst thing to happen to our club, we were going down the toilet before he took over. Yeah, he stayed too long and shouldn't have come back but he did great for us when he first came in.
I hate him. He has ruined so many weekends. I can't help being passionate. I find it a bit sad when people are not passionate about the things they love.

Both of them are looking for the next step in their careers and are voluntarily leaving their positions. The job they would be asked to do here is exactly the same as the one they’ve just done with Bournemouth and Palace, I think they’ll be looking for more than that.

Perhaps.

But when has the club been pro-active for the past 35 years?

Ultimately, look at Glasner, he left Eintracht and historically big club in Germany, and have up CL. Then joined Palace, and won them their first trophies.

I personally think our head coach job should be an exciting prospect. It just doesn't feel that way, because its constantly put down.

It shouldn't be that way.

If our owners / leadership cannot convince Andoni Iraola & Oliver Glasner to come to Everton from Bournemouth or Crystal Palace respectively despite their recent successes and our recent lack of success, then we may as well get the banners going now.

Moyes will get us europe next season
We won’t be close, this was a freak season where the usual ‘better’ teams all underperformed and left the European spots super open. Moyes has let the golden chance to get into the ‘guaranteed trophy competition’ slip through his negative hands. Sunderland will win that next season, watch.

He needs to be removed from the club immediately, more chance he takes us down than gets us above 14th next season

Hate is too strong a word. Despise I can live with.

Sorry, what?

Perhaps to yourself its "just a game". But for others, its a huge constant in their lives. Some people have nothing but everton, some people have passion which is more on the cuff and evident than others.

Others have spent thousands in Europe, spending years of their lives watching us, and if we aren't up to scratch and it impacts people's happiness, then i think people's opinions are allowed.

For what its worth, I think he wants us to succeed, he just doesn't have the ability to do it. 1 trophy 30 years.

Lower expectations, and ruin your weekend. The David Moyes legacy. But telling people to grow up because they feel more strongly isn't really fair.

I wanted Moyes, he did well last season and he gave some pride and self respect back to blues after Dyche. This season Moyes has destroyed his reputation with me. What’s more as the season went on, he kept getting worse. The PC's recently on top of the same defence repeatedly is a big two fingers to us.

Has been. Finished.
If he had been trying to get backers to turn on him he couldn't have done it better

Iraola looks like he’s going to AC Milan and Glasner will probably end up at a similar club and he’ll get loads of offers. Our fans might think we’re an attractive club to join but to people outside the club, it’s still not that attractive yet compared to teams like that.
