2025/26 David Moyes

Iraola looks like he’s going to AC Milan and Glasner will probably end up at a similar club and he’ll get loads of offers. Our fans might think we’re an attractive club to join but to people outside the club, it’s still not that attractive yet compared to teams like that.
If we can get Ancelotti we can get Glasner. He'd have triple the pay, a fancy home stadium and two of the world's best attacking wing backs for his system

Glasner is now a two time European trophy winner on top of his FA cup but there are still some on here who turn their nose up at him. It beggars belief. Maybe he will have better offers than us but to win the lottery you have to buy a ticket. We never buy a ticket. Maybe Ancelotti, I suppose, that one was like a bolt from the blue!

Moyes is somehow one of the best paid managers in the league. Any hypothetical new manager we’d have will also be one of the highest paid. Money does talk.

"Money, you say? Tell me more."

He is reliably linked to AC Milan, Crystal Palace, and Leverkusen. We could run a horse in that race if we wanted to show some ambition. But I think you are missing my point which is down to ownership selling Everton as a project. And that project should be winning the league title in X amount of years. If we are not aiming for that, what is the point to this brand spanking new stadium ?

I’m not turning my nose up at him but him and Iraola would be mad coming here, they will turn their nose up at us.

I wanted Moyes, he did well last season and he gave some pride and self respect back to blues after Dyche. This season Moyes has destroyed his reputation with me. What’s more as the season went on, he kept getting worse. The PC's recently on top of the same defence repeatedly is a big two fingers to us.

Has been. Finished.

I think this is the most accurate post. Ducked saved us via points deductions, Moyes got us "stable" but now he'll do what he can to keep us in this position.

Surround himself with yes men like Irvine and Coleman.

Sorry, what?

Perhaps to yourself its "just a game". But for others, its a huge constant in their lives. Some people have nothing but everton, some people have passion which is more on the cuff and evident than others.

Others have spent thousands in Europe, spending years of their lives watching us, and if we aren't up to scratch and it impacts people's happiness, then i think people's opinions are allowed.

For what its worth, I think he wants us to succeed, he just doesn't have the ability to do it. 1 trophy 30 years.

Lower expectations, and ruin your weekend. The David Moyes legacy. But telling people to grow up because they feel more strongly isn't really fair.
It's a huge constant in my life but its still just a game.

Of course opinions are allowed and I'm very happy for people to express them but honestly, hatred for a man you've probably never met and will never actually know because he doesn't manage your football team in the way you'd like is a bit much in my book.

I get how people can say it when they're caught up in a moment but saying it on an internet forum on a Wednesday night when there's been no game today isn't heat of the moment.

Is this a Kinnear lurk account or something?
