2025/26 David Moyes

Feels like the end of Moyes’ second full season when we finished 17th when the players were safe and had given up on their holidays

Expecting a battering last day against Spurs now like we did Man City.

Not all on him, some poor performances today and didn’t look like they wanted it, need about 5 first team players in
So as a manager, make a flipping change or two and do your job. The same players continuing to start after poor performances is damning. He then refuses to ever change his golden boys. I am as big of Ndayie fan as you’ll find but his legs are gone and have been for weeks. KDH has had some shockers recently. They still get 90 every week because of their names.

Meanwhile, we’re getting toyed with by freaking Sunderland at home and he does nothing to change it until 70 after we’ve been under pressure and already conceded an equalizer in a must win situation.

He’s too stubborn and it bit us again, as it has for the last two months.

His appointment was a panic one due to Dyche's results, him being available and his history with the club. I cannot, for one minute, imagine he was even a thought on TFG's radar when they arrived and started planning for the future.

Im hoping the fact that he hasnt already signed a new deal means TFG are looking to possibly make a change.

Our league position is reflective of the quality of the squad IMO. If there is anything Moyes needs to answer for it’s the utter waste of money on Dibling, Aznou and Barry.

Many of the teams around us, or even below us, are full of players that would absolutely walk into our first team. Particularly at full back, CM, right wing and striker. Which is most of the team.

We still have a woefully undercooked squad IMO. The only way to attract an improvement on Moyes, or even contemplate replacing him, would be to hand a manager a massive war chest. I still don’t know if that is on the cards.

The big question to anyone who wants him to stay next year or get a new contract is what is it that you’re seeing that makes you think we are going in the right direction and that this is the man to take us forward.
Well that’s it, isn’t it? They are not concerned about us moving “forward”. They crave “stability” above all else. Their idol dampens down expectations and convinces them that we’re lucky to be where we are and they lap it up.
