2025/26 David Moyes

Europe was there for the taking but 3 points from 6 games and that's it. Gone. Moyes is the one playing a 6 ft 5 centre back at right back, Keane starting next to Tarkowski when O'Brien is available in place of Keane. Not starting George when the team is crying for attacking width. Putting on an 80 year old Coleman for old times sake and McNeil over a starlet like Dibling!?

He has done a great job and thankful for his efforts last season but it's time to move on as the guy doesn't know how to set up the team and make basic obvious subs when the team is guaranteed to concede if proactive changes are not executed.

….you asked why he’ll be here next season, surely the fact that he won’t be sacked is the answer

Very odd.

I get what you're saying and he may well could be here next season bur if the pendulum has swung and the majority of supporters aren't happy, then the owners will look further into it. It affects business and I doubt TFG would want that

Yeah think that is the most likely scenario might even be sooner if home performance's keep mirroring today's shambolic performance
I think it's very likely. No one is going to accept a continuation of these shambolic home performances, and rightly so.

One of Moyes main flaws is his tactical stubbornness and risk aversion. He genuinely will be happy to go into next season with that back line. He thinks they have done well

But any manager with proper standards would have made big changes after shipping all these terrible goals.

I think we are in big trouble next year to be honest. Without a willingness to fix our numerous problems, nothing can get better.

Completely unacceptable.

How to ruin your chances of Europe in 6 games.
