2025/26 David Moyes

That’s assuming he somehow plays exponentially better there for no provable reason. Hes never had a good game here, whether it be cameo or start.
A kid having to beat 3 players at any one time to move up the pitch because he’s got Jake OBrien glued to the half way line behind him.

Even then it doesn’t work because Moyes apparently pushed to sign him. It’s his fault either way.

It will go down as a flop unless there is a dramatic improvement over the summer. I just want to know what the issue is.
Yeah, like for the lad and EFC I hope he comes good, never otherwise. Just a really costly gamble on a young lad well known to be pretty introvert, whom I understand has missed home and not settled.

That would've meant putting Patterson on or leaving Coleman on for 30 minutes.

Moyes already had his plan with Coleman, so JOB was never getting taken off.
This annoyed me today, not least because we had midfield options on the bench and Garner could have gone RB when OB was suffering and went off with the physio at HT.

Stubbornness or not wanting to move JG who got my MotM because he was so effective at saving our bacon repeatedly.

That’s the thing. There are examples of young guys who do nothing in their first seasons who go on to be big successes. At this stage he’s a flop, but there’s still potential for him to be a success in time.

Does make you laugh a little when people talk about stability for us, if we were to look in the dictionary about football stability it’s probably us that shows up, in the same league for over seventy years. Don’t get relegated, don’t get the top spots for that last forty years. Just in the mid range.

Do you forget Sunderland Till I Die lad? The owner Ellis Short drinking cat urine cocktails back home in the states leaving the club to rot whilst poor Chris Coleman gets called rude names by a fan in the Stadium of Light car park?

Do Villa fans remember the Holt End being as empty as a Gary Glitter tribute act concert back in 2016???

Those two clubs are getting way ahead of themselves and should be careful what they wish for! They don’t want to be a Venkys, a Portsmouth, a Risdale/Bates Leeds or some other club !

Our place reeks of a gentleman’s club keeping a select few in a nice wage in order to be compliant . Make a few supporters groups feel important for feedback and communication purposes, keep everything steady and don’t rock the boat.
