Totally agree, it's the name I really don't get, also apparently it's a total myth about him being an EFC fan.

Howe is decent, efc fan or no fan. But we shouldn't be comparing apples and oranges.

I sort of agree, but we know that no manager of our club in the last 30 years has come close to the value for money signings that Moyes has. Football changed massively since his first time around, so it may be that last summer was 100% on Moyes. Like the signings of Cahill, Pienaar, Arteta, Jagielka, Stones, Yakubu, Mirallas, Baines etc were clearly on Moyes

Sorry but I don't rate Howe at all, very limited imo. His teams just kick the opponent off the pitch half the time, bully boy tactics and his teams are never that great at the back either. I'm not a fan of British managers tbh, they don't have the expanded skillset that many of the foreign guys do and they all have the same tactical limitations.

There will be no DVD. That’s just a childish response. I’m not celebrating this season, not by a long shot, but I can see why issues are a with us. The best manager in the world took 3 seasons with an unlimited budget to find the full back pairing he desired, we are playing with JOB and Mykelenko. It’s like giving a top golfer Top Flite balls & actual Woods and then asking him to compete this weekend.

Well, that was a broad stroke. Premier league 'experience' shapes a lot of tactics. But he is better that your average manager. Although, we really shouldn't be comparing someone like Moyes to Howe anyhow.

He can see out his contract upstairs too... It is insane to accept the season petering out has no effect on his job. If a team is 6-7th in league in March and 10th in May, that is reason to question the manager.

Not if we were in a relegation fight he wouldn't. Forever grateful for the past 18 months in that he stabilised us, but we'll get pretty much the same next season when I'd be looking for a higher finish.

You’d have to be an absolute moron if you think it’s “probable” that Bournemouth will overcome a 4 point deficit and a 3 goal deficit when their next game is Man City away.
