It was an Incredible dive down, just lucky the right man was there to get (us) back to the surface..

I think Moyes has done a great job since he came back but the past tells us he has a limit.
I'm thinking about the longer term in saying that I think this summer, or if he gets Europe, then the end of his contract next summer is a good time to shake hands and move on to something new.
I'd like to see a more attacking, quicker brand of football which hopefully would attract players. I also definitely want to see better use of young players.
I find some of the debate on here crazy, from both sides. It feels like there's no room for nuance. There's nothing wrong with saying he's done well but also we need to try and take the next step or build on it with someone new.
As for who, it's always going to be a gamble but for a start there's Iraiola who might be attracted to a team with bigger stadium, budget etc. But it's not my job to name names, I'd expect an ownership that has multiple clubs to have done background searching for the last few months and have a shortlist of people that I've probably not even heard of.
No, but ongoing maintenance and improvement goes a long way to making sure it doesnt break
Unfortunately, or fortunately, dependent upon your point of view, I don’t think you can take the decision on behalf of TFG.
And you think that we would achieve better results with that system?
You may be in luck, just been announced that he's leaving Bournemouth at the end of the seasonI’m a big fan of Iraola as a manager. Moyesy’s done a great job, but if he was to step back in a year’s time and Iraola was still at Bournemouth, he’d be the perfect replacement imo. He actually plays in a way that would be great for us - no fannying around, brave, exciting and often direct.
Then we’d have still had a better season than most had us down for.But what if we lose the next 6 !
My arse !
He wants to go back to SpainThe Iraola's of this world dont come up very often. He would be the perfect fit for us to take on the work here after Moyes has stabilised the club for the last 18 months.
That sort of seamless transfer of manager to one that takes a club to a higher level takes place at ambitious clubs.
We have the opportunity to do that. A fleeting chance of that process and we should take it.
“the past”

Looks like he's going back to Bilbao.IRAOLA has just told Bournemouth he wont be renewing contract....
Keep it calm lads![]()
True. But what else do we really have to go on than the past?“the past”

He bought Kevin Mirallas, a very Ndiaye type player....True. But what else do we really have to go on than the past?
Just judging from what we've seen so far since he's been back, is his use of young players any different or style of play noticeably changed? I wouldn't particularly say so, and I think he's probably fairly lucky to have inherited Ndiaye as I don't really see him as being someone Moyes would have bought, although that could be me being unfair.
