2025/26 David Moyes

Would his bollocks have prevented the early penalty? That would be impressive

i don’t agree, the teams have never been fitter and more physical, or better drilled and i think that makes it hard

every player on the pitch can play and pass and resist the press, i remember us getting 4th with stubbs and weir clogging the ball in the air at every opportunity and big sam’s bolton being one of our big rivals

and because anyone can beat anyone and theres not 6 clear best sides as usual makes it feel weaker when i think its the opposite
Teams rarely stand out anymore because everyone caught up. The game has changed and it is run by athleticism. There will always be the old heads - "well back in my day" but you go back and watch old footage and it is very clear the game is a lot more advanced as a whole.

Nothing against legends and legendary teams of the past but the game is supposed to advance and players are becoming more and more fit. Less binge drinking before matches and more sports science and all that.

Whilst conceding 12 more goals and behind us in the league..

They are a very very well run club with a great Transfer approach, a young coach who works well with the lads.
But the above figures don't lie..

🤔 Hmm. Bournemouths Iraola Sold 3 of his back 4 pre season & his star forward for £65m in December for net income of approx £150m v Moyes spend of £100m plus 3 loans & he has them 2 points behind us. Figures indeed don’t lie. 😊

So, just to clarify, you're declaring someone who holds a contrary position to you on a football forum as 'borderline insane' - but you are 'balanced'.

Ha ha ha. FFS. Take a look in the mirror lad.

I defend managers not financially backed and left with a mountain to climb with us dancing on the trap door...as any sane supporter would.

We have a manager who's come in and done ok but not exceptionally well having spent £110M on players last summer. At this stage we could still not only NOT qualify for Europe but also we might even fall into the bottom half of the PL...which would be appalling given the cash spent and the massive support in a new stadium.

I'm sorry if people feel offended at being called sycophants - but Moyes is a limited manager and there are many of us who demand a more tactically astute manager at this club to make the difference again, and then there's others who will take whatever Moyes serves up.

Spent less than 13 other Premier League clubs last summer btw. From a starting point of spending less than 19 others over the previous 3 years.

Pretty sure Bournemouth conceded more then us last season aswell, and half of that was under Dyche 🤔

Iraola would be gone in 12 months.

Its hilarious when Blues suggest these shiny new "progressive managers" with no connection to the club and think they could come in and implement their "philosophy" willy nilly.

We've been down this road before and it hasn't worked.

The fanbase snuffs them out in no time and they can't handle the pressure.

This club will never win anything with a manager who's got no connection to club...never has, never will.
