2025/26 David Moyes

I am actually interested, but as you said I don’t suspect I’ll agree with many of them.

But yeah, maybe we should go back to fairly critiquing the manager and the recent performances rather than going out of our way to caveat wins we’ve had and making it really weird.
I didn't caveat anything. I said, and continue to say, it was a good win. Just not a generational win like Percy said it was.

Maybe next time it’d be easier to not suggest you could easily explain why you thought me saying Everton being the only team in PL history beating UTD at OT with 10 men was equivalent to someone saying (I don’t believe anyone actually said this) that Everton getting 4th would be a better achievement than Leicester winning the league.

Surely we can agree on that?
Once again, Percy, I acknowledged that your comment was less insane than @Kevsleftpeg saying that 4th was better than 1st.

Why waste money on someone like Bowen when you have a much younger version like Fatawu who will probably end up in league 1 due to Leicesters situation and be a far cheaper option who would have resale value.
The worry is Moyes and his obsession with older players, he wanted soucek in the summer, now either soucek said no or West Ham would budge on the price and TFG said no. And the last day of the window we get Rhol, I don’t think that was a coincidence.

Rumours of us looking at sterling in January and another older player, who’ve I’ve forgotten who it was now. Wilson from Fulham another who’s the wrong side of 28.

Also, Callum Wilson at West Ham, which made sense on a six month loan, but not on a permanent deal.

Is he as good?
well we tried to get him last summer. he is who we should have signed instead of Dibling, he is far quicker than Bowen and atm has 15 g/a. These are the types we need to be moving for not the Bowens or the Grealish's imo, certainly if we want to avoid trouble again. We need to avoid expensive PL players, The vast majority of the best managers/players came into this league with no PL experience yet this club/manager seems to think its vital for some reason its nothing but backwards thinking, one look around the league will tell you that, we have done it for years and its never gotten us anywhere.

we usually don't do well historically against Chelsea, arsenal and Liverpool, we play all three in the next month or so but like you stated who knows what the future will bring until it happens
We have beaten Chelsea at home for most of the last decade. Wasn't there four wins in a row up to last year?
