2025/26 David Moyes

Sorry mate but I'm reading more about West ham, Utd, Sunderland and Sociedad than I am about Everton.
I'm gonna be dreaming about Didier Ndong and Adnam januzai by the time hit the sack.

in!
That wasn't an endorsement of Gary O'Neil just wanted to illustrate that bournemouth was undergoing their own hardships and it wasn't until they actually took some daring measures to overhaul how they operated, which involved acquiring an innovative manager that could bring forth evolution at bournemouth instead sticking with a dud like Gary O'Neil. That was only 3 seasons ago when we also experienced our supposed relegation battle scars

How is he a dud? He came in at Bournemouth and kept them up after Parker was sacked. He kept Wolves up after coming in at the last minute as well. Both teams were relegation favourites. He seems to be doing alright at Strasbourg.

His record is actually very good when you consider he is only 42-years-old.

Ask wolves and bournemouth fans how they feel about him , I was at the wolves match where a struggling Sean dyche Everton side pummeled them and the wolves away fans gleefully sang you're going to get sacked in the morning, and I think shortly after that he was sacked. Also sacked at bournemouth and I'm glad he's been able to revive his career but managing at Strasbourg after being in epl indicates that his professional reputation took a hit after two failed managing stints in the EPL thus a dud but lets just say he wasn't the man to deliver higher aspirations for the club. You have to admit bournemouth made the correct action in replacing him with Iraola?

But he didn’t fail at either Wolves or Bournemouth is the point. He’s done very well considering he’s just starting out as a manager.

It would now be the logical move from them.

They have made their decision. These conservatives want a conservative. And they have him.

So, why have him manage a squad as a lame duck, when he can be a dead duck. He's here to keep their stadium project ticking over.
This is true, however fans are at a crossroads now regarding going to the match and continue to pay high fees, if the football doesn't improve fans will vote with their feet.

Early next season it could get very toxic quickly

I have little faith in a fanbase that seal-clapped Bill Kenwright on the jumbrotron with their flippers.

Palace are a better proposition at the moment. FA Cup champions and probably Conference winners.
He’s actually waiting for a bigger club than palace, which we’re and he’d come to Everton all day over palace. But it’s all irrelevant because the dinosaur and his stupid zip up cardigan under his suit is staying.

TFG sack managers at Roma for not getting Champions league but quite happy to keep a manager who finshes in the bottom half in the job for little old Everton
