That's not true. Villa have to win Europa and lose against City on the final day, with Liverpool winning at Brentford. Villa have to finish 5th and win EL for Bournemouth to get into the CL.If Villa win the Europa tomorrow, s it stands Bournemouth are in the CL.
But apparently we've had a "successful" season
If Villa win the EL they'll phone it in against City anyway, so it's not a small chance this happens.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, I'm not playing down what Bournemouth and Iraola have achieved this season (and his entire tenure there). He and they have been fantastic and I'd love him here.

The point is, were being told to appreciate "success", meanwhile Bournemouth who finished level on points with us two seasons ago (excl. Deductions), at our darkest ebb have qualified for Europe; whilst we are being told that this season has been a success.
Should Liverpool beat Brentford, and City beat Villa (who have nothing left to play for), Bournemouth will make CL... but apparently its "too soon" for us.

Genuinely hilarious how we could have just fallen over the line into the Europa league this season given what other teams have done and instead of even just being below average we threw in a run in of pure relegation form just to ensure we absolutely missed all chance of it.
