2025/26 David Moyes

Soon as I saw the team, deflated. Don’t know how anyone can watch this and want him here next season. Thanks very much but that’s enough.

Branthwaite left back, Armstrong in front of him - no left hand side. Garner right back, Irogbumham and Gana at centre mid.

It’s absolutely pathetic.

He’s got the cheek to moan that we don’t have many goals in the team - not setting up like that we don’t Davy!

He’s a coward of a manager. Sets up not to get beat, that’s what he knows and he’s not going to change.

We’ll have money to spend again in the summer, don’t let Davy spend it. Please 🙏🏻

Considering that we’re in the first season of a major squad rebuild along with playing our first season in the new stadium (not to mention having injury problems and players missing for large chunks of the season), mid-table is about right. The owners have said multiple times that the progress will be gradual and there are areas of the squad that we need to improve in the summer but it’s not going too differently to what I expected this season.

I think 50 points should be the target from here, less than that would be a bit disappointing as it would be similar totals to the last 2 seasons.

That’s about were I am mate.

There's not enough urgency to get better right across the club

All the talk of gradual progress, long term rebuilds, just avoid a relegation battle etc isn't the mindset of a club who are ready to take a step forward.

4 home wins by end of February is never good enough even for the very worst everton teams.

Playing negatively at home when you are safely in mid table is a sign something is totally wrong with the mentality of the club.

He’s not going to get us to the destination. That’s literally the point

He’s going to get us stable and pass the baton on to someone who will

That’s literally been the plan since they hired him

If Dyche hadn’t had us sinking they would’ve probably just kept him around to do it
Again if you waste resources you’re not going to get us in a better position overall. He’s already blown last summer’s window, why would you give him more? Plus if he’s not going to get you there, what’s the point, at least start with someone who might!

TFG aren’t here to win so gradual “progress” is fine

Jesus, he got 31 points in 19 games last season with a worse team. He’s spent £120 million so far and you want him to crack on if he gets 50 points this season!

Was on him tonight, they were there to be got at from the start.

I aint gonna be calling for his head yet though, Moyes was always here to bring stability and make us not even think about relegation and hes done that.

If an Iraola type of manager becomes available in the summer, thank Moyes for what hes done and move on.
