2025/26 David Moyes

Well Ive just noticed you've got st domingo in your corner. The biggest dyche apologist on this forum. All you need now is davek and you've got the full fan club lol.
Its been fun.
That list killed me 😂
I'm just posting what makes sense to me mate. I'm not a Dyche fan boy, I basically hated the guy! I wanted Bielsa  Nevertheless he had a difficult financial set up to operate in and fairs fair you have to take that into account.

Fixed it for you.
Top 10, rebuilding a solid squad, integrating young potential stars with a solid core, ready to push on next season. Rome wasn't built in a day etc. That's where I'm at, and the majority of the fanbase I would hope.

Edit: I might be in the minority, but I'd rather not qualify for some tin pot Europa league this season? I am skeptical of the amount of investment the owners will put in that is needed into the squad so soon to cope with the fixture list, and would rather see us aim for the FA Cup next season as well as potential higher European honours.

Moyes is a responsible builder of teams type, I'm hopeful he can lay out a platform for another manager and that manager isn't as useless as martinez. Would absolutely love for him to win us a cup along the way.

This season i said early doors Moyes will get us top 10 and I stand by that, a significant improvement in my eyes

I’d love for Moyes to be the one to break the trophy drought. That’s why I’m not opposed to being in the conference league if it gives us another opportunity to win a pot next season.

Think we could do well in the conference league. Our bench is already starting to look better, if Moyes rotates we could still put out a decent side for the games where we shouldn't need the first team.

Was looking horrendous a few weeks ago due to injuries, and that will continue to happen. I think it depends on sound investment in the summer, it will really depend on the owners imo as to what we can aim for.

That is usually when things go very wrong. If we are expecting a win I would rest maybe 2 at most because I believe the structure of Moyes teams relies on players used to it.

Generally managers who have a track record of consistently over performing with the clubs they manage. I don't think Moyes fits into that category. Moyes is a solid above average manager who knows how to organise a team and makes them hard to beat.
Such as? We played some great football under Moyes. He brought Baines, Pienaar, Cahill, Arteta to the club. He’s an excellent manager.

But would you be the first to slate the man when squad depth possibly/inevitably takes it's toll..

I find the whole 'Europe this season' a tricky one to process with certain posters.

It can be pushed out as a positive outlook, when really it's just another Trump in their cards if things don't turn out rosy..

We've only finally got our players back for a league competition ( as already out of cups )

The summer needs to address the obvious spots in the starting 11, whilst also having players leave.

We will be a better team and a better bench, but actual strength in squad depth for 4 competitions.

Not being negative, just question certain posters real reasons behind the europe this season necessity..
