2025/26 David Moyes

I mean, Brighton are very good at home. People should take that into account. This is the home table. It is also a place where we need to improve, if we are being honest.
This really helps put it into perspective. They have only lost once at home all season, and people are losing their minds over a draw. Its not the best result in the world, but it is not a bad one either.

We're literally above all the teams you mentioned there apart from 1, so they can't have improved results that much.
They've all won something or qualified for Europe in the past three seasons (Bournemouth aside).
Neither of which we can claim.

Iraola and Glasner both out of contract in May; both improve Everton.

No-one is losing their minds over a draw. The result is ultimately irrelevant.
I'm delighted we got a point. I'm just reeling at the way the side were set up from the start of the game and it's further evidence that the players we have are being hamstrung.

Yet both below us in the table now.

Maybe they would improve us, but there's also the chance they might not. Trying to improve a squad that is not underperforming is actually a very difficult thing to do. If we change the manager in the summer, there will be a lot of expectation and it won't be easy for whoever comes in.

My frustration is how late the substitutions are made, they seem rarely to be pro active as in a change to try to win a game as opposed to secure or save a game.
Beto 88 mins, I wonder if he'd been bought on 15 minutes earlier....

It's usually frustrating but today we had the momentum in the 2nd half. Don't think it needed to be changed until they scored.

Just look at his little happy Everton face. LOOK AT HIM. NOW LOOK AT YOU FAT ENTITLED THICK SUPER BLOO DAR SLUGS IN THE MIRROR GO ON TAKE A GOOD GAWP. You joyless, self loathing, loud mouth genuinely stupid nothing in your lives but misplaced entire self of identity in a long dormant football team. I hate you and won’t rest until you’re all banned swear to God I’d head lock you all and blame the fans.
Is it time for another daft Moyes in or out poll? Y'know, the ones that normally show it's just a core of very loud folk raging about Moyes constantly.

Think the point is, the style of play and negativity will stop us getting any further in long run.
Moyes could get a new deal and spend 300mil in the next few windows, but his pragmatism will stop him getting higher than 7th/8th and the conference league imo. You need to go and win games, you can’t set up for 0-0 at Brighton

Absolutely fine when that time comes. Move him on when the team is lower in the table than it should be.

We played really badly in the 1st half, but it happens. The 2nd half was much better and a point isn't a terrible result at Brighton.

I just can't get on board with the sentiment that this team is only a new manager who plays on the front foot away from mixing it with the big boys at the top.

It happens every game for one of the halves. 🙁

I know one think they wouldn’t cack their
Pants away and Brighton and try and play for 0-0
