2025/26 David Moyes

You are odd. You only ever pop up in response to me to ask me to provide evidence to support the argument of someone I'm disagreeing with. If someone said to me that the earth is flat, and I said it was not, then they said it deffo was then I would ask them to prove it. You would then pop up and say YOU ARE ASKING THEM TO FIND YOUR EVIDENCE FOR YOU AGAIN!!! GRRR....

That is weird.

That was a mind numbingly defensive and baffling starting 10. The best Center back in the league at left back, a decent Center back at right back, an actual right back on the bench and another 2 Center backs at Center back basically just to shoe horn Keane back in. I mean wtf.:hayee::lol: Only for birthday boy getting a very unlikely late equaliser we could have had no complaints at all about getting comfortable beaten after that set up.

Getting very worried about you Mr Moyes. Allardyce and Dyche would never have dared do that and definitely wouldn't have got an easy ride after it.

Well, actually you called it weird that I'd raised a discussion from a few weeks previous. So you've actually changed your story.

Please, vault ahead and prove me wrong if it's the case. burden_of_proof*

Exactly. It really takes courage in your approach to be so ballsily negative in an attempt to nullify an opponent and steal a win. He would surely know he would be pilloried by many for it, but he had the fortitude to believe that was the best approach and stick with it.

I mean, it didn’t make for great entertainment in the first half, but it nearly paid off.

Has he spoke up about the teams resilience and how it’s a great trait for this team to keep battling until the end yet (again)?

Utter hogwash and hides the fact he can’t set a team up to go and dominate oppositions and try to win.
He is the living, breathing epitome of keep it tight, don’t lose and see if we can nick a win.

I’d much prefer a team whose trait is to attack from the off and keep at it until we’re in a winning position then let’s see the resilience to hold onto it.

Aston Villa are a big club. They invested their money well while we squandered vast sums under Moshiri. That’s the difference.
Their upturn in fortunes occurred when they appointed Emery.
Don't praise their transfer investment too much; they have made some hideous decisions as well in the last 8 years.

However, they fixed that with a proper manager and a competent Director of Football to manage their recruitment.

Who dominates Brighton at their own ground? They’ve lost once at home all season. It’s just mindless criticism with no nuance.
