By the time we play Bournemouth it will be over two months since we won a home game. Let's stop pretending that it's entitled or in any way weird for fans of any club to get a bit narky when they haven't won any of their last 5 home games.
I
Mean what does Irvine actually do ??? Moyes bringing his mate back
When Moyes and Irvine were last here, I met Irvine at an after dinner thing. He's a really sound bloke, he told us that at that time Moyes liked wide midfielders like Freddie Ljungberg, who would tuck in and have overlapping full backs. He said that Moyes coached the set up and defensive aspect of the team and Irvine coached the attacking aspect based on the style Moyes preferred. I'd say given he's playing left footed wide players with little to no pace on the right, he's trying to adopt a similar structure as he used to favour, but he doesn't have the full backs to do so. So I think it would probably be fair to assume that Irvine is once again coaching the attacking play based on Moyes' style.
My issue with that style would be that football has moved on, and it neglects pace and movement, and Moyes' teams never really have pace, but all the top sides now have pace, as the game is getting quicker every year.
it’s anoyyin and bafflin
but moyes has to address it
He hasn’t made much progress on sorting it out though & we are over halfway through the season. The first half last night was as bad as anything he has served up.
I know he’s never changing and he hasnt got his comfort blanket, bullshit Billy holding his hand this timeagain YOU DONT KNOW THIS
Why don’t you cheer me up more, Eggs![]()
What if he can’t though Matty? I didn't want him back, but he has a done a good job since his return in getting us away from fearing relegation (which I don’t now fear, so well done Moysey), but I hate his football at HDS, it is dull, slow predictable and soul destroying.it’s anoyyin and bafflin
but moyes has to address it
I think we do Mattyagain YOU DONT KNOW THIS
Would anyone be surprised? Honestly?Moyes dream back 4 is on. O’Brian Keane Tarkowski Branthwaite. Happy days![]()
How was that a defensive post.Stop defending the dinosaur.
He schooled Moyes so much that he had to mirror Farke's set up...then Farke outsmarted him again when Everton were looking for the winner by changing shape to see out the game for a draw.
Stop defending the dinosaur.
