That Dave “correctly” predicted that all the bottom 3 were so bad that we were safe regardless of who was manager? Well clearly he didn’t believe that because he was still very much flapping that one of them were going to overtake us in January.

Not a wum people will have you believe.

My only desire is to see Everton safe.

Moyes wont do it and these players need a boost. Southgate would hand us it. Illd hand these players self belief. And boy do they need it.

As much as I was 50/50 on Moyes and I do agree with you Dave I'm not convinced it will be the raging success some seem to think it will be. However Southgate is just not an option, he had squad full of supremely talented individuals and failed to deliver with them multiple times. A couple of those tournaments were handed on a plate too him and he still fell short. I do think Moyes will keep us up but it will be a battle.

I think we have to act swiftly and bold.

I'd be looking to bring in Southgate if Moyes doesn't get a grip of this in the next few games - if he'd come.

As a last throw of the dice to keep us in this league he makes sense.

He'd have the respect of players and we'd get that bounce we need to get over the line.

He should have been brought in before Moyes.

I can only think he must have been approached and rejected the move.

Cash wise I'd make him an offer he couldn't refuse and for whatever length of contract he wanted.

Maybe he will start. But it’s either him or Dibling, who has been even less effective, so what are you expecting to see?

Probably true,but then most Prem teams line up with a specialist RB. Hard for us to complain too much about the performance of a converted CB or CM playing there.

They have a lot of good players. I hope Moyes have allowed himself enough time in his team talk to list them all and remind our brave lads how lucky they are to be sharing a pitch with them.

It's been an impossible situation of his own making,by not signing a right back,by not playing Aznou and Dibling, by not signing an effective forward and by not getting enough squad depth in the summer when he knew we were losing 2 of our best players to AfCon.
