2025/26 David Moyes

Lol you got a real thing about HA. He would not get any game time had it not been for injuries. His loan has done him the world of good. Let's hope we keep him and he does well. I can see him going back to PNE if I'm honest
Yes to help them not us - DM needs to get his priorities right HA has done well in a poor team - when the stars return he would make us even better .... Man U put a cheeky 20 million bid in last summer for HA - our football atm is pedestrian - we need two full backs particularly right back last June - 100 million & one full time good signing we have seen .....

I will be surprised if he gets anyone in without selling TBH....

I dunno. I think HA going on loan was the right move personally

If you leave this echo chamber and talk to fans of other clubs you'd get a complete reality check. Moyes massively overachieved with us last time he was with us and he performing as expected or better this time round too. It's pretty much universally acknowledged except on forums like this which are full of cranks. Why do we expect to outperform our spend on wages and player fees. It's just completely deluded. It's like an ugly bloke with no money holding out for a super model.
Why can't an ugly bloke with no money attract a Supermodel ?

Maybe when you're 14 that might make sense. looks fade, a pretty face doesn't hold a relationship together..

Utd didn't put a bid in for him, that's a gaff rumour that's been created on here..

Your obsession with Preston is getting quite strange though, its in every thread..

Who's this magic manager that turns this team into an attacking force? Thomas Frank? Which team in the premier league even plays this attacking football every week? Not city today, not Arsenal, not the RS. All of them regularly qualify for champs league spent 100s of millions but don't play this mystical attacking football everyone seems to expect
A lot Teams are on the front foot, Newcastle were 1-0/1-2/2-3 down v Leeds and won 4-3. There’s not a chance Moyes wins a game like that Villa have won 10 on the bounce at home, city, arsenal, Liverpool will dominate the majority of games. Ok I’m picking out the best teams with the best players and spending the most money. But I’ve seen, Brighton, palace, Brentford, Bournemouth, Fulham, Leeds all play on the front foot more than us, yes of course at some of the big clubs it won’t be as easy. But Brentford today had a right go at Chelsea, yes got beat 2-0. But had more possession, more shots and more on target, compare that to us at Chelsea. Yes we’ve had some good away results, but it’s more about digging in nicking a goal and then defending for our lives.

We had Brentford, wolves and Sunderland in a weak, we had less possession in all the games and what did we really create in 3 matches? Wolves 2nd half not on shot on goal, Sunderland was terrible and Brentford battered us. No I wouldn’t want Frank at all, he’s also a very safety first manager, but there’s plenty out there and it’s up to TFG to find one, I’m sick of watching this turgid football, I want to see us go abd take the game to the opposition

Why should any EFC Manager promote any loanee be interested in thier noutcome of the team he has sent them too - it's blinkered vision imo as his no 1 priority should be EFC !

As long as it doesn't effect the job he's doing, why does it matter ?

Just because he has a soft spot for Preston, the loan benefited us and Armstrong..

All that matters about Moyes is what he does with us.

All managers/players will have soft spots for previous clubs..

The one who doesn’t capitulate at home turf to begin with…
