2025/26 David Moyes

We now know with words from his own mouth that we do have money to spend and that he always has the final say on transfer deals. I would now suggest that the outcome of all this is to get back to the dithering Dave scenario, do some work Moyes and bring in some players, or better still just go.

he has got money he’s said he can be backed but not for silly amounts

he’s right in not spending for the sake of it but we will get players in

go? lol behave

He said that we should keep Dyche, we'd get enough points and the bottom three weren't going to get many more points. It may pain you to admit it but @davek was right. Btw I thought he was wrong at the time but he wasn't.

He quite literally said Moyes wouldn’t keep us up and we were doomed after sacking Dyche?! Where’s this narrative come from that he always thought we’d be fine?

Can't even beat the worst team in the league a week ago, people on here: let's give him a lifetime appointment

What makes you think Everton had any divine right to beat them? Man utd never beat them at old trafford. Liverpool were hanging on against them at Anfield. Arsenal beat them at the emirates with a 94th min OG. They're not the Wolves under Pereira.
I dont get the "cant even beat" bit when 3 of the current top 5 in the league struggled against them.
This isn't defending Moyes. Its more a look around. Its not just Everton who have not rolled them over in the last month or so.

So bored of people wanting a new manager after a poor run of form. Our already paper thin squad has been decimated by injury and afcon. What do people expect? Moyes has done well with the players he has. It will take 3/4 years for us to be genuine euro qualifiers. We have no strikers. Our whole midfield has been missing for a month. Our best defender hasn't played once. Just have some patience

….with so many clubs struggling, I still think it’d be so sensible to extend Moyes contract for another season or at least persuade him to have the option of another year.

Why? And why would we need to persuade him to have another year? I think he'd be more than happy.

The club? Zero reason to do that right now.
