We were 2 points off relegation this time last year. Are you honestly saying that youād of guaranteed we wouldnāt be in a final day scrap?
I agree that 'if no Europe he is a failure' is harsh on Moyes but come on, top 10 finish is not asking a lot is it?Yes it was the fifth highest net spend because the squad had already had everything else sold out of it.
Its the 13th highest spend compared to everyone in the league and you and other's are moaning we should be finishing top ten because of it. We didn't even spend more than half of the league and this is after 5 years of hardly investing at all. How can you expect us to finish top ten because of that spend when over half the league spent more? That doesn't seem very fair does it?
Again, stop talking about Dyche. He's old news and whatever he did has no relevance on how Moyes is performing other than he set the standard for Moyes to improve on which was the 16th place in the league we were in when he left. Moyes has done that, easily.
Repeating 100 million and "net spend" figures like the kopites do while ignoring the context of the previous lack of investment except to bring it up to defend your obsession is bizarre behaviour.
He won a cup so very clearly he was betterCarlo Bombed. Finishing bottom half after winning opening 6 games was pathetic. Joe Royle is my favourite Evertonian ever, I absolutely adore him, but he didnāt do a better job than Moyes
Actually, itās a good achievement in such a competitive league. Pretty much every club has good players. If anything weāre outperforming at the moment.I agree that 'if no Europe he is a failure' is harsh on Moyes but come on, top 10 finish is not asking a lot is it?

Without our best defender for a whole season so far? We are definitely playing above our base case for the season given the circumstances. We are currently down to the bare bones. We're not outperforming, we're not underperforming.
We are pretty much where you'd expect us to be now with the loss of players.
And where we were when at full strength.
Probably a 9th - 13th team depending on availability..

Once we get everyone back I see us kicking on. Branthwaite is the key though.Yeah but these things happen to every club, our strongest 11 moves us up, the awful squad options moves us back.
Afcon is a totally different factor.
Certain clubs around us you could say are underperforming more than we are overperforming.
We are about where we should be, given how this season has been playing out.
Any chance that you can define 'grown' in the context of GOT?Grown men will throw conniptions
Touched by moistAnother West Ham manager bites the dust ?
It's almost like Moyes isn't the problem.
Our transfer team sucks though and i guess that includes him.
But also some very good wins away which is not what we have come to expect over the last number of years. Some losses are to be expected. Itās the manner of the losses that annoys me. There have been some truly awful home performances in particular.
Middle age and older typicallyAny chance that you can define 'grown' in the context of GOT?
Yes, I agree. Age-wise but not mentally/emotionally unfortunately.Middle age and older typically
