2025/26 David Moyes

Although he generally had good overall defensive records Moyes certainly wasn't immune to the occasional hammering in his first spell, but probably more pertinently it was definitely a big problem he had at West Ham. Obviously the way things have ended up going for them I'm sure a lot of their fans regret wanting him out but at the time it was kind of understandable to an extent, they conceded 3 or more 16 times in his last 15 months there, and 5 or more 6 times.

I heard that west ham fan dan lawless on talksport earlier. They usually roll him out when west ham are struggling. He mentioned the record amount of goals conceded when Moyes name was brought up. What he conveniently forgot to mention i noticed is they also finished 9th. 27 points away from the bottom 3. As it is right now they'll be lucky to get anywhere near 27 points alone.
They got their wish. Worked out well for them.

Aye and let him stand on it for 5 minutes. Grealish has class but too slow and too predictable.
Those 5 mins is the time it takes his team mates to get near him and help him. Sometimes good players are made to look bad by having bad players around them. Grealish is one step ahead of most of them, always looks better when KDH is playing as they are on the same level. Just my opinion like.

Yeah like I said, i'm sure they'd swap it for where they are now but it is also fair to say that if we only win 2 home games between now and the end of the season, and lose 6-0, 5-0 twice, 5-1 and 5-2 in the same timeframe like they did, we probably won't be his biggest fans either.

The thing that baffles me is how generally solid we are at the back when we're away, but as soon as we try to be a bit more open at home, we fall apart, particularly at set pieces, which is not something usually associated with a Moyes team.
Have u seen how we start the attack and play possession game? Away and home games are different animals altogether…

Slightly different in my opinion. The overall picture is they finished in the top half of the table. They should have concentrated fully on the spiv owner who's taken them to an athletic stadium. Difference in not being his biggest fan and actively wanting him out. They can be "bored" now watching Swansea and Charlton at home.

I do like him and I didn't say he wasn't a good player but he hasn't impressed me lately. Just my opinion like.
