Which youth team?
The ones that reached the semi-final of the U21 league?
The ones that qualified for the semi final of the U18 league finishing above Manchester United in the elite group?
Or the U16 and U15 teams who lost a grand total of 1 game between them thrashing the likes of Arsenal by 5, Manchester United by 6 and reaching the final of the international invitational tournament they entered?

I don't dispute we have quality at that level - it's just that very little of it transfers to the first team.

Every summer another batch of apparently promising youngsters gets released.

Something's not right with our youth system.

Just wish our backroom staff would wait till the new manager comes in, he might want to keep the likes of Irvine.

...I am surprised at this. I have to admit to predicting that Moyes wouldn't take Round. I got the impression he didn't confide in him and consequently didn't particularly rate him. I was obviously wrong.

I know a couple of STH at United and they never rated him. Although I never know how people know enough to even make a judgement, just strikes me as something 'cool' to hold an opinion on.

Moyes, round and the rest have managed to get Everton to around 60 points on a consistent basis. One would imagine that whatever they do they could find an extra 20 points or so just by dint on having De Gea, Rafael, Carrick, RVP and Rooney instead of Howard, Hibbert, Osman, Jelavic and Anichebe.

Obviously I've been selective in the players I've chosen but I can't see United at least being in the frame next year. Especially if they get Bale or Ronaldo.
That's exactly it mate

don't get how people say he is useless. no-one knows what he does. Yeah he looks like a tool with that earpiece but he could actually be decent

I know Moyes will want to take his number 2 but I wish he would leave the rest of the backroom with us instead of wrecking what he built here. He will move on to our kids next, then the players.

I've seen him do training. I think he's a [Poor language removed].
