Now Irvine is following him:blink:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ne-Manchester-United-coach.html#ixzz2UrhKgRB8
To many changes to our backroom cant be good for us either, but Man u fans must be worried cos their backroom staff will have more knowledge about the man u players and what makes them tick.It does seem a bit on the mental side to sweep away basically the entire backroom staff.
It says something that I'm more worried for United's backroom than I am our own now, too. I feel like it'll do us good to have a refresh - especially where the youth team is concerned. I don't see how it benefits United, beyond Moyes finding it more comfortable.

How long Irvine been in charge of our academy?I'd be worried for their youth development. It's been so good under Fergie. Our's has been fairly poor in that time, with very few exceptions. Given the abundance of local talent on Merseyside, surely more kids should be breaking through to the first team.
I'm all for a fresh start where the academy is concerned.

Has it though? Since that Golden Generation there hasn't been much coming through at OT to be fair

Cleverley and Welbeck.
But you know, cleverley and welbeck, it's difficult to know how much of a recomendation that is.
Exactly. Not much. And Cleverly was signed from Bradford was he not?
Which youth team?
The ones that reached the semi-final of the U21 league?
The ones that qualified for the semi final of the U18 league finishing above Manchester United in the elite group?
Or the U16 and U15 teams who lost a grand total of 1 game between them thrashing the likes of Arsenal by 5, Manchester United by 6 and reaching the final of the international invitational tournament they entered?
