Neither team deserved to win. Neither team deserved to lose. Some really good play from both sides and some desperate stuff from both sides.
It was ever thus.

What is the succession planning for our back four? Asking seriously.

…I was talking at CB. Tarkowski/Keane transitioning Branthwaite/O’Brien. Branthwaite is already first choice but my concern is his fragility. Also think you can see it in CM, Gueye won’t be here for much longer but we have Garner/Iroegbunam/KDH/Armstrong looking very decent longer term in that area.

Problem continues in both full back spots and central striker but I think that’s more about poor transfers than succession planning.

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner speaking to Sky Sports:

"I am pleased with the performance, especially in the second half. In the end, it felt like Everton played three days ago. We made so much pressure, created chances and missed a few.

"I am really proud of the team's effort today and the belief we had and also the mentality to play for a win. I think it was a huge performance."
He's right, and it's because we've flogged the same 13 or 14 players all season. We don't use our squad at all. KDH and Ndiaye have been real bright spots this season but they both look completely shattered.
