My takeaway from this too.

Although Keane has done fairly well considering, he is a 33 year old 4th choice centre back who's started the majority of games this season.

Want to see Jarrad and Jake as the pairing next year, and another CB brought in who will get games due to Jarrads Injury record
Tarks has had his day. Been a great servant during hard times but we need to start moving forward

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner speaking to Sky Sports:

"I am pleased with the performance, especially in the second half. In the end, it felt like Everton played three days ago. We made so much pressure, created chances and missed a few.

"I am really proud of the team's effort today and the belief we had and also the mentality to play for a win. I think it was a huge performance."
they got a draw, just like we did.

:/

Didnt we have two " international" right backs on the bench? Pretty sure they are both getting paid...

….i was saying you don’t put your best CM to RB. Beyond that O’Brien has been fine as has Tarkowski/Keane. Fair argument that O’Brien is a better option than Coleman given his fragility. He’s 100% a better option than Patterson.

Tarkowski and Keane had a bad one today and it’s understandable posters vent their frustration but there is succession planning in place, the major concern is Branthwaite’s fragility.

What he is saying is how i thought, that Palace felt more the winner of the 2 teams way game was going later. The thing that he said about Palace making Everton look like we played a few days ago is exactly the way i said i hoped we would not play. It's game many thought Everton had more a chance of winning than Palace and one i had us to win, but changed my mind today as i had a funny feeling we may stuff it up

we did have more chance to win it, should have been out of sight by HT. they made changes when it was still close and got back in it. momentum swung and we were out of ideas. first half was 90% us. we started SH well enough, then it tipped. We dont have the depth or even the quality first eleven to breeze through games. Take Grealish and Branthwaite out of the sides not top four and they'll struggle to stagger on. We don't have the margins. Gifting away untaken chances continues to dog us.

What is the succession planning for our back four? Asking seriously.

Getting a bit sick of the lets swap beto for barry almost as if Moyes watch alarm has gone off. Taking Beto off today when he did made no sense as he was really keeping their back line busy when Barry came on it was easy street, a striker too lazy to come back from offside positions.
