Will there be a ferry to take me home? North Island preferably. I don't want to wait 20 years for a spaceship.

I reckon J K Rowling has the solution Flue Powder, just need a fireplace in your home and BAM throw some **** on the floor and tell the fireplace you want to go the your Everton seat.

Easy transport in and out with little overall cost (apart from the fire place) more people globally able to get the the match and no Carbon hungry infrastructure to worry about (not sure if you actually have to use the fire place for a fire though).

whats naive about that, i remember a group of away lads went to Ukraine there flights got cancelled and had to travel via mountain roads to Kharkiv. Fans will get to the match what ever way they can. its not naive its fact

To think 65,000,complete with kids, are going to trek over a mountain for each game is ludicrous.

Prof Tom Cannon, football financial expert, states...

  1. Everton's core support (attend 3 games in a season) was about between 80 and 100,000
  2. Everton's wider support (claimed Everton were their team of preference) about 1 million in UK and 250k overseas. Man U are leaders at 2.5M in UK and 3M overseas.
  3. The "walk-up" fans were very important to Everton FC and had to be exploited. (where fast mass-transit comes in).
  4. Everton were the 5th most named team when the public were asked to name top English teams.
  5. Everton have the youngest support, and the most educated.
  6. Of the top 10 teams Everton was the least disliked, whereas Man U are the most
  7. Everton's revenue is 48% of the average of the 'big 6 clubs' and has been declining since 1970.
  8. Everton's stadia revenue is one fifth of Man U's £100 million per ann.
  9. Everton get amongst the lowest revenue per attendee/supporter in the Premiership.
  10. The club has been going backwards for 40 years, but the business potential is huge.
  11. Before he took over, Cannon stated Kenright would not turn the club around.

It is clear that Everton need top stadium facilities and the ability to get the fans to and from the stadium fast and in comfort from all points on Merseyside and beyond.

Now we're rolling, this man (assuming he is male) has allowed his understandable love of trains to limit his outlook upon the world. Is it too much to ask for a space launch centre by 2020 ?

Why stop at civilian infrastructure. We should declare the new stadium and surrounding area a sovereign state (we wouldn't get kicked out of the PL because we would sign a memorandum of understanding with the FA declaring that our new super rich Chinese owner wished for the club to secede from the UK exercising the Evertonian people's right of self-determination) complete with military capabilities within easy reach of the stadium and sign a pact with the Chinese so they can protect us from the UK military (I hear they have a few million soldiers kicking about so that should do it - this would also allow us to get around our 'friendly' RS council planning department). We would then proceed to destroy all other infrastructure which aids 'high-speed' transportation to all other grounds (we don't want to make the league completely redundant) making ours the only one which is easily accessible from afar due to our new airport/dock/railway/roads/launch pad. Thus Everton would be the only logical club to support as it is the only one with high speed access. The population of Evertonia would grow and we would be able to fill our million seater stadium week in week out. Thus, with the dramatically increased revenue we would have the financial capacity to buy a team of messi and ronaldo and anyone else who is boss and we would win the champions league, premier league and fa cup every year. (we wouldn't partake in the league cup as it is beneath us at this point - or at least we would send our boss u-11s who would at least reach the final every year). Furthermore, every evertonian would be able to claim dual nationality and therefore the phrase you are born an Evertonian would become even more true.

Who's with me?? vive la revolution

Edit: This could also mean we could compete in the World cup and Euros allowing us to not only be the first team to win both the champions league and world cup, but also to watch everton be boss over the barren summer months.

Liverpool City Council Regeneration and Transport Select Committee meeting on 10.02.2011, proposes to open the eastern section of the Liverpool Outer Loop line using "Liverpool Football Club and Everton Football Club as priorities, as economic enablers of the project".[51] This proposal would place both football clubs on a rapid-transit Merseyrail line circling the city easing transport access

IT'S ON FFS!
