I won't be on lockdown in June. Because it's difficult to be on lockdown when you're homeless.

But the hairdressers still won't be open homeless or not.

Never been to the Barbers for ages I bought a professional razor comb off Ebay with spare blades from a London salon an age ago - {looked on there now they have stopped selling the professional kits} - as my wife stated she could do a better job than the barber ... I have a good head of hair for a 65 year old - she does a great job - please note not a Dyson part involved @COYBL25
She is also a dab hand at making homemade Soda bread - no yeast involved - I was so lucky when I met her....
So self isolation is a pain, but a necessity unfortunately.....

6 months grace on an MOT.....so far-
Your car, van or motorcycle MOT expiry date will be extended by 6 months if it’s due on or after 30 March 2020 - but you must keep your vehicle safe to drive.

A senior US scientist issued a cautious prediction Sunday that the coronavirus could claim 100,000 to 200,000 lives in the United States.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, who leads research into infectious diseases at the National Institutes of Health, told CNN that models predicting a million or more deaths were "almost certainly off the chart."

"It's not impossible, but very, very unlikely."

He offered a rough estimate of 100,000 to 200,000 deaths and "millions of cases."

But Fauci, a leading member of President Donald Trump's coronavirus task force, quickly added, "I don't want to be held to that ... It's such a moving target that you can so easily be wrong and mislead people."

I think the US could be one of the worse hit when this is done even when you factor in population size. They appear so disconnected with states bidding against each other for equipment. They botched the testing which they are now trying to catch-up on but the horse looks to have already bolted. I am sure New York will get what it needs but other hot spots are starting to form. I suspect places like New Orleans will be left to rot like it was during Katrina

Think you might be right. Will also see a lot of scholars looking at how the handling of the crisis and subsequent death toll relates to dominant national ideologies. Could see large scale changes in society.

Which is why they need to test ASAP.

For example no point locking down until June anyone but the elderly/most vulernable if testing shows millions of the working population have already had it and can resume work/back out into public.
