Why are we only reporting the coronavirus deaths that have consent from family?
Thry dont have to be named but for safety and transparency, they have to be included.
Trying to distort the figures?
Exactly.
Last night on Newsnight finally a journalist, Emily Maitlis, did the job of holding the government to account. Nadhim Zahawi couldn't say when there will be 25 000 tests a day as proclaimed by Johnson 10 days ago. He claimed it's gone up from 5 000 10 days ago to 6 000 now 10 days = 1000 more a day. That will mean that it'll take 200 days for there to be 25 000 a day. Zahawi resorted to claiming Maitlis was 'sniping'. I bet she'll be reprimanded for giving a Tory minister a hard time on the Tory controlled BBC. How dare she, hold the government to account!!
It's been the same with ventilators. Hancock keeps claiming that the NHS has 12 000 when it has 8 000. Just because they may have ordered them doesn't mean they have them. It was claimed by Zahawi that they'd be in the NHS hands 'soon' but when pressed by Maitlis again he tried to deflect but couldn't confirm that 12 000 will be in use by the NHS next week, which is Hancock's claim.
We're now entering war time censorship and big Goebbels lies. As seen from not announcing how many people died from coronavirus yesterday from the normal slot of 1 pm. but not until 10pm. On Newsnight the political editor Nick Watt, 'deaths down, is of interest, but need to be careful not to read too much into it, because the department of health, as we speak, is changing the way it is releasing and compiling these figures, normally these figures would come out in the early afternoon, when I lasted looked they'd still not come out. And the reason for that is that it turns out that these figures may not actually be the deaths that have taken place over the last 24 hours, because the department of health, the NHS, needs to have the consent of the families of people who've died to release their figures. So the deaths may have taken place a few days ago. So it's not exactly a like for like figure every day'. What consent?
They've never asked for consent of those that have died from say a road accident or cancer so as to release figures. Not releasing figures and distorting them is part of the government's strategy of underplaying what is happening through deceit. Now that they've got parliament out of the way the government have a free reign to lie to their back teeth as they've done over tests, PPE and ventilators. And no doubt the MSM, and in particular the Tory controlled BBC - with last nights odd except and Piers Morgan odd exception, will all duly stand in line and march as one in protecting the government from too much flak.
